Justin Bieber’s Mom Pattie Gives Grammys Shoutout 3 Months After Tense Exchange
Pattie Mallette is always cheering on her baby, baby, baby.
Ahead of Justin Bieber's appearance at the 2026 Grammys on Feb. 1, his mom was sure to give him a sweet shoutout on social media.
Indeed, Pattie reposted a message on X (formerly Twitter) that read, "I can't wait to see both Justin and Hailey Bieber on the red carpet." The 50-year-old shared the post, along with a clapping-hands emoji. (See all the celebs on the red carpet here.)
Pattie's support comes just three months after she and Justin shared an online back-and-forth, beginning with a cryptic Instagram post, in which she said she was cheering and praying for him "always."
"I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you, Justin," she wrote. "Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus' name. Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION."
"Silence every voice that doesn't come from You," Pattie continued, "and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace. Say amen if you agree."
But the "Baby" singer didn't seem interested in the conversation, commenting, "Only thing I need healing from is my rolled pinky toe from playing ping pong."
Despite Justin and Pattie's tense interaction, the matriarch has been sure to be the singer's supporter whenever possible.
And tonight is no different. After all, the "Daisies" singer—whose album SWAG is nominated for Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best R&B Performance—is returning to the 68th annual award after a four-year absence.

Along with being an attendee, he's also set to take the stage as one of the award show's performers. Justin—dad to son Jack Blues, 17 months, with wife Hailey—has only made brief onstage appearances since navigating ongoing health concerns, including his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis in 2022.
Since then, however, the musician has been ready to bring his swag back. In fact, he dropped his Grammy-nominated album as a surprise in July before releasing SWAG II in September.
