June Squibb celebrates her 95th birthday in style with star-studded celebration in Los Angeles

June Squibb, the late-blooming Academy Award nominee, marked a milestone birthday over the weekend with the help of some of her past costars and Hollywood friends.

She was thrown a 95th birthday bash on Saturday at a private home in Los Angeles, and actors including Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman, 30 Rock funnyman Jack McBrayer and Big Little Lies actress Kathryn Newton were all on hand to celebrate.

The party also served double duty, as it was part of June's Oscar campaign for her critically acclaimed film Thelma, which marks her first time in a lead role.

The dramedy, which was released in June, was a nearly unanimous hit with critics and earned the nonagenarian star some of the best reviews of her three-decade film career.

June looked to be in a celebratory mood based on her black sequined blouse and black satin coat, which featured colorful floral trim and gorgeous white floral stitching over the sleeves. 

Logan, who doesn't appear to have worked with June yet, rocked a silky brown polo shirt with tonal stripes and tan corduroy pants with a navy jacket as he posed with the guest of honor on a sofa. 

He was joined by his girlfriend, the architect Ana Luisa Corrigan, who looked casual and cool in a long-sleeve white shirt, black sweater vest and pale blue jeans.

Jack McBrayer, best known for playing Kenneth 'the page' Parcell on 30 Rock, beamed ear-to-ear while holding hands with June. He rocked a blue baseball cap featuring her name on the front while wearing an untucked white shirt with a blue-and-green striped cardigan and tan chinos.

There were plenty of actors from a younger generation celebration the elder star, including Kathryn Newton, who rocked a red blouse with a leopard-print scarf tied around her throat, and The Fabelmans star Gabriel LaBelle, who rocked a brown cardigan over a white tank top.

In one photo, the Saturday Night star leaned over to shake hands with a seemingly delighted June.

Life In Pieces actress Zoe Lister-Jones looked over the moon as she joined June with her partner, the filmmaker Sammi Cohen.

Zoe looked too cool for school in a black leather biker jacket, while Sammi brightened things up in a yellow jacket.

Glee's Chris Colfer was clearly a fan of June's as he smiled for the camera and clasped her hand. He was joined by his boyfriend, fellow Glee actor Will Sherrod (L), who wore a tasteful suit that complemented Chris' all-black ensemble.

They posed together with social media star Dylan Mulvaney and the comic actress Riki Lindhome. 

Dylan wore a pink-and-red dress decorated in various paisley patterns with a thick pink knit coat draped around her arms and Riki favored a casual beige Shetland sweater.

Riki was joined at the party by her regular comedy partner Kate Micucci, who jazzed up her black-and-white striped shirt with a tan jacket decorated with playful rodeo illustrations of horses and cowboys. 

Chiwetel Ejiofor, the Oscar-nominated star of 12 years a slave, looked classy in a black suit with a white polo shirt, while his girlfriend Sacha Bertagnon favored a tasteful tan double-breasted sport coat with peaked lapels.

Donnie Darko and No Country For Old Men actress Beth Grant contrasted her fuchsia-colored sweater with a thick black cardigan and black pinstripe pants.

While plenty of actors joined June to celebrate her 95th birthday, she also had multiple guests who are better known behind the camera.

Among June's behind-the-camera guests was Wally Wolodarsky. He looked stylish in a purple velvet sport coat and dark blue plaid trousers.

His wife, screenwriter and director Maya Forbes, wore a casual navy-and-white striped shirt and dark jeans with black leather boots.

They posed for a photo with the film producer Ron Yerxa, who, with his collaborator Albert Berger, produced Nebraska. 

The critically acclaimed Alexander Payne dramedy earned June a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination and increased the profile of films she starred in subsequent to it.

Squibb's latest Oscar campaign comes after she made her debut as a lead actress in the well-reviewed Thelma.

Although she had acted on stage going back to the late 1950s, it wasn't until 1990 that she made her film debut in Woody Allen's Alice, which led to a career filled with supporting performances in a bevy of modern classics.
