Dabura's Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Might Be the Strongest in the Series
In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo chapter #21, Dabura's potential finally exploded. Inspired by Maru, Dabura imbued his new "cursed technique reversal" into a barrier, deducing how to unleash a domain expansion by thinking about how to defeat Mahoraga in one fell swoop. Dabura's domain expansion is called "Inverted Pathway," being a realm that appears to combine his cursed techniques of light and darkness.
Although Dabura was able to reach sublight speed and increase the energy of his attacks with his cursed technique, the power of his new darkness is still unknown. Dabura's Domain Expansion is Filled With Symbolism
Following the Buddhist influences found throughout Jujutsu Kaisen, Dabura's domain expansion hand sign appears to be inspired by the Shambhala mudra. The Shambhala mudra represents a sort of shield, with Shambhala being a mythical kingdom inhabited by those who have achieved enlightenment. This ties with Dabura's character since he is a Deskunte warrior in charge of protecting the Rumelians.
While its effect remains to be seen, the interior of Dabura's domain shares a striking resemblance with the real-life Monument to the Revolution of the People of Moslavina located in Croatia, which symbolizes the 'wings of victory' and honors the fallen fighters of the region. The monument has been associated with the goddess Nike, who personifies victory, power, and speed.
This allegory of supreme divinity and absolute victory in the domain expansion hints that its power should not be underestimated. Dabura's Domain Expansion perfectly interprets his growth as a character and the epitome of his power in this intense death match against Mahoraga, so it remains to be seen how he will perform in battle in the coming chapters.
