Hollywood has been coming together to support each other as the devastating wildfires continue to ravage the city of Los Angeles.
Jimmy Kimmel is the latest to offer tangible support for those displaced, as he and his late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! have established a donation center.
“Fellow Angelenos — if you’re looking for a way to help those affected by the fires, we have a donation center in our backlot in Hollywood. We will quickly distribute essential items to those who need them,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for supporting and please spread the word to those in our neighborhood.”
The center is open now until 6 p.m. at 6901 Hawthorn Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028, and they are accepting items including bottled water, Gatorade, baby food, pet food, non-perishable food items such as canned goods or individually wrapped snacks, like bags of pretzels or chips, new toiletries and hygiene products, new socks and underwear, diapers and baby wipes.
Kimmel is back in production today and will be hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! this evening. The show films at the El Capitan on Hollywood Blvd.
