Jessica Simpson's ex Nick Lachey and wife quit California for second time in FOUR years as they list lavish mansion

The Lacheys are on the move again. 

Nick and Vanessa Lachey have listed their stunning Tarzana property as they prepare to move out of California for the second time in four years. 

The listing marks the second time the couple have put this particular home on the market; they first purchased the Tarzana residence in 2020, sold it to Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka, before buying it back from her when they returned from Hawaii in 2024. 

The family of five relocated to Hawaii in 2022 for Vanessa's TV show, NCIS Hawaii, which was cancelled after the third season wrapped.  

According to The Agency - the company listing the property - the Lacheys are now moving out of California for the next chapter in their lives. 

In a statement provided to The Daily Mail by The Agency, the couple said they 'loved living' at the property.  

'It provided so many great memories. We’re happy and excited for the next family to carry on the tradition and continue to love it as much as we did,' they continued. 

The family returned to Los Angeles in 2024 after moving to Hawaii for Vanessa's show, NCIS Hawaii, which was cancelled after wrapping it's third season. 

The shelving left Vanessa 'gutted, confused' and 'blindsided.'  

'Grateful, confident, beloved fans!' said the actress, who starred as Special Agent in Charge Jane Tenant, said as she addressed the cancellation with fans. 'Processing this news and still being present with my family. I Love You all.'

The couple returned to Los Angeles but are now seeking to put down roots out of the state just two years later. 

The home has gone through quite the star-studded change of hands over the years; in addition to Osaka, the Tarzana property was also previously owned by NFL pro Randall Cobb.

A relatively new construction, the gorgeous home was built in 2015, offering five bedrooms and five full bathrooms as well as two powder rooms, and is situated on three-quarters of an acre behind electronic gates.

The expansive grounds feature gorgeous landscaping, a built-in bar and grill, a playhouse, the aforementioned tennis/basketball court and a swimming pool.

Inside the home, there's a large open-plan living area with both a formal dining area and a casual dining area.

The heart of the space, however, is a spectacular chef's kitchen with marble countertops and top-of-the-range appliances abuts a living room with fireplace.

A games room boasts a wet bar and there's also a media room and a fitness room with mirrored walls.

On the second floor of the mansion is a large family room and guest bedrooms.

The main suite includes a stainless steel fireplace and a wall of windows opens out onto a large terrace.

The main bathroom has a marble tub and a steam shower, as well as custom vanities and a fireplace.

Former boy bander Nick has been married to Vanessa since 2011 and together they have three children together - sons Camden, 13, Phoenix, nine, and daughter Brooklyn, 11. 

Nick rose to fame as a member of the pop band 98 Degrees but also became a reality TV legend after he tied the knot with now ex-wife Jessica Simpson.

For two years, the couple allowed cameras into their lives for their MTV reality show, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. 

The show ended in 2005, the same year Simpson filed for divorce. 

Earlier this year Lachey had a run-in with his ex during a flight to Hawaii with his family. 

'It was strangely OK! You know it's been 20 years since… and so we hadn't seen each other in those 20 years and then spent six and a half hours on a flight to Hawaii together,' he said on Watch What Happens Live. 'But when I say spent, in the same vicinity.' 

'I believe her kids and her - I'm not familiar with where they stand at this point, but her husband? But they were all on the plane, but not with us,' Lachey said. 'It was honestly, it was fine!'
