Jessica Alba Steps Out for First Time Amid Cash Warren Breakup News
Jessica Alba enjoyed a fantastic outing.
Less than a week after news broke that she and husband Cash Warren were separating after 16 years of marriage, the Honest Company founder was seen for the first time looking cheerful in Los Angeles on Jan. 13.
According to eyewitnesses, Jessica seemed to be in a great mood as she popped into Erewhon to grab lunch before heading to a park in Hollywood for a picnic with her son Hayes, 7, and a friend.
The 43-year-old kept it casual for the outing, sporting baggy blue jeans, an oversized beige sweater, a blue puffer jacket and white sneakers, which she paired with sunglasses and a caramel Chanel purse. Jessica was also without her wedding ring.
News of Jessica and Cash's split was first shared by TMZ on Jan. 8, citing sources with direct knowledge who said the pair had separated and are planning to file for divorce.
And while the duo—who are also parents to daughters Honor, 16, Haven, 13—have not spoken publicly about their separation, they had done their best to maintain a united front before news of their split.
Just five days before, the Honey actress shared a slew of photos to Instagram featuring Cash and their children enjoying a day at Universal Studios Hollywood.

"The best day at #UniversalStudios celebrating our 7 year old, Hayes," she wrote on Jan. 3, alongside the photos of the family flashing big smiles. "Thank you for having us, @unistudios."
In the wake of their breakup, a 2024 interview with Jessica began to recirculate, in which she gave a candid look at her life with 45-year-old Cash.
"I would say it's all rosy for two-and-a-half years," Jessica told podcast host Katherine Schwarzenegger. "But then after that you become roommates. You're just going through the motions, the responsibilities. It's a lot of checking the boxes."
The Sin City actress also confessed that because she found herself busy with parenthood and her career, Cash would often get "the short end of the stick."

Although she did add, "I would say we, it's not even him, I would say it's us, right? Because when I'm seeing him and spending time with him, and we really like enjoying each other, it's an us thing. And it feeds me as well."
According to Jessica, the estranged couple—who first met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004—used to make it a priority to set aside time for a weekly date night.
"We won't have our phones and we'll just talk," she explained. "But then that stopped because whatever, and so we're just not consistent."
She added of their relationship, "We have, obviously, the friendship, the comfort of like, ‘You're not going anywhere. And so sometimes you don't treat those people the best. You don't consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people's feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on."
