Jessica Alba and Cash Warren Seek to Finalize Divorce One Year After Breakup
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are beginning a new chapter.
One month after the producer moved to finalize his and the Fantastic Four actress' divorce proceedings, a judge officially signed off on the documents. And the March 16 filing, obtained by E! News, revealed how the former couple is splitting their assets.
Jessica and Warren will equally divide everything considered community property, which was accumulated between the date of their marriage on May 19, 2008, until their Dec. 27, 2024, separation, the docs state. That property includes investments in companies like WeWork and Culver Studios, stocks, as well as furniture and art from their former home and other properties purchased together.
Jessica—who shares kids Honor, 17, Haven, 14, and Hayes, 8, with Cash—must also pay her ex $5 million from the sale of one of the homes they owned together and set aside $500,000 for their children's expenses.
The 47-year-old will also receive 50 percent of the Honey star's acting royalties and residuals from roles during their marriage, including Machete, Valentine's Day, The Office, Barely Famous, and Dear Eleanor. He will also receive 50 percent of The Honest Company's restricted shares.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old—who hard-launched her romance with Danny Ramirez in November—will earn half of her ex's profits from producing projects like Being Terry Kennedy and Crips and Bloods: Made in America. However, financial gains made from projects made before their nuptials and after their split will remain individual property.
When it comes to coparenting, the exes "shall share joint legal custody of the minor children, Honor, Haven, and Hayes" and "neither Party shall pay child support to the other at this time," according to the docs.

"In exercising joint legal custody," the filing noted, "the Parties shall share the right and responsibility to make decisions relating to the health, education and welfare of the minor children, excluding ordinary, day-to-day decisions (which shall be made by the Party with physical custody of the minor children at the time)."
They will also need joint consent to change their children's schooling and extracurricular activities, to issue new documents such as a driver's license or passport and to undergo body modifications.
While Cash—who debuted his romance with Hana Sun Doerr in August—and Jessia are equally authorized to schedule any medical or mental health treatment for their children, they must advise the other in no less than 48 hours, unless it is a medical emergency.

With their assets from the relationship divided equally, both also waived and released each other from any future spousal support obligations.
Since their breakup, Jessica has been focusing on positivity.
"Here's to a colorful past year that was filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy and so much love," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "Sending hugs to everyone going through it."
