Jessica Alba and Cash Warren Break Up After 16 Years of Marriage
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are being honest about the state of their relationship.
The Dark Angel alum, 40, and the film producer, 45, have broken up after 16 years of marriage, according to TMZ, citing sources with direct knowledge.
News of their breakup comes just days after the Honey actress—who shares kids Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, with Cash—shared a glimpse at family bonding time at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Their latest family outing also came amid divorce speculation from fans, which was fueled by recent sightings of the actress without a wedding ring, as well as an Instagram post she shared on New Year's Eve that included family pics without Cash.
E! News has reached out to their reps for comment and has not heard back.
The former couple first met in Vancouver, B.C. while filming the 2004 film Fantastic Four, tying the knot four years later in Los Angeles.
Throughout their decades-long romance, Jessica and Cash have been open about what it took to maintain their relationship.
"We can talk about anything,” Cash said during a joint sit-down with Jessica during a 2021 Works for Us podcast episode. “We can sit down, we can make each other laugh, we can piss each other off—just that best friend friendship, that trust."
Cash, who is the son of Hill Street Blues actor Michael Warren, also noted that he and Jessica help each other grow.
"The moment one becomes stagnant and the other one's really pushing for growth, it's challenging," he added. "Or if you're growing apart, it's really challenging and so, it's like finding a way to support each other on our own paths, in our own growth. Her helping me on my path, and it doesn't mean our paths have to converge and we have to be doing the exact same thing. It's just supporting each other in our own growth."

As for the Sin City star, she agreed, adding that their partnership was "ride or die."
"We're in it,” the Honest Company founder said. “We both committed to being in it. The second you can choose to be in it, is when you're like, 'Hmm, I don't know, I can probably choose to not do this anymore.' The second that happens, that's when it gets weird."
However, despite their kind words for each other, the pair did hint at some turmoil they’ve experienced in the past, which led to them breaking up once before.
"When we first started dating I was really jealous of other guys and the attention she was getting from other guys. It just wasn’t making me feel good," Cash explained during a 2023 episode of the Whine Down With Jana Kramer podcast. "I was always a pretty confident person in my own [life], walking my own path and really happy there, and next thing you know I’m looking up and feeling jealous all the time."
As he recalled, "I was like, ‘I hate feeling like this. It doesn’t make me feel good, and I know it doesn’t make you feel good.’ And we broke up four years into our relationship. We broke up. It was the jealousy. I was turning into an a--hole, and so we broke up.”
But now, Cash noted he was focused on being Jessica’s “biggest cheerleader” moving forward.
"I’ve tried to be a good teammate in that regard,” he noted. “I’m not interested in the spotlight. I’m not a star, I’m not a celeb, I’m not an actor, I’ve never tried to be an actor. I high-five her, let her do her thing, and I’ve gotten more comfortable with it over the years.”
