Jeremy Renner was every inch the loving father as he planted a sweet kiss on his daughter Ava Berlin's head at the Alice nella Città film festival in Rome on Friday.

The American actor, 55, who shares the 13-year-old with his ex Sonni Pacheco, has traditionally kept his daughter's image off his social media platforms.

Yet Jeremy proudly showed her off as they walked the red carpet hand in hand before he presented his memoir My Next Breath: A Memoir.

Jeremy looked dapper in a grey suit and black tie as he smiled alongside his daughter.

The author is presenting the Italian debut of his book which details his 2023 snowplow accident, survival and recovery.

Jeremy was at his property in Lake Tahoe when he was run over by a massive 14,000-pound snowplow in 2023.

More than 30 bones in Jeremy's body were broken in the January 1 accident that left him in 'critical condition' at first, ahead of multiple surgical procedures.

One year after the near-fatal accident, Jeremy praised his daughter for helping him through recovery.

'Reason number One for my recovery is her. I asked her to “wait for me” when I first saw her January 14 as I arrived home,' Jeremy began.

'As I got better, she got better, less afraid. There is simply no better motivator to recover than to heal your family and friends,' he added.

Jeremy was making a valiant attempt at protecting his nephew Alex from harm at the time of the incident.

The actor said his initial thoughts were about his nephew's trauma witnessing the harrowing ordeal.

The book includes a piece from Ava, who 'sort of inserted herself into that scenario by writing the essay early on in the thing', Jeremy previously told People.

The Mayor Of Kingstown star continued: 'I asked her, at the end of writing the book, if I could put her essay in the beginning of the book.'

He was lucky to survive when he broke 38 bones after a 14,000lb snow plough crushed him back in 2023

Jeremy said that he remembered Ava would also be contributing to the audiobook, which gave him a real sense of pride.

'I totally forgot about the idea that she's going to have to do the narration of that too,' said Jeremy.

Jeremy added: 'I was just reminded and so proud of how far we've come as a family, how far we've come as father and daughter.'

He previously shared a clip of Ava working on the project on his Instagram Stories, People reported.
