A fan wrote, 'I remember you singing when I was younger do you think you will do another album,' and another asked, 'You sound incredible, when is the concert?'

Daily Mail has reached out to a rep of Hewitt for comment, but has yet to hear back.

While Hewitt is known for appearing on the screen in projects such as I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and shows such as 9-1-1, she had also previously followed her passion for music.

She offered backup vocals on Martika's number one track Toy Soldiers in 1989.

Hewitt's debut studio album, Love Songs, was released in Japan in 1992 and recorded when she was 12-years-old.

The star then released two albums after being signed to Atlantic Records: Let's Go Bang (1995) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (1996).

However, the actress was later dropped by the label when both albums failed to land on the charts.

Hewitt later recorded the song How Do I Deal for her movie I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), and landed her on the charts.

Her fourth studio album, BareNaked, was released in 2002 under Jive Records.

The LP reached the number 37 spot on the Billboard 200 chart at the time, and became her most successful album.

The single BareNaked also landed on the charts, such as reaching number 24 on the U.S. Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100.

However, the LP was the last album that Hewitt recorded.

'I'm a singer who acts. It's my spirit. I feel alive when I do it. I love acting, but it came unexpected in my life. Singing has always been a part of me,' Hewitt told Billboard back in 2002.

Back in 2013, Hewitt expressed to Broadway World that she had been considering the possibility of recording a new album.

'Well, I am thinking about it right now,' she said at the time.

'I am not officially working on anything at the moment, but I am thinking about maybe playing around with some stuff. Nothing official, but I wouldn't mind doing it again soon.'

The star has also found success with her acting career, and took on leading roles in shows including Ghost Whisperer and The Client List.

Most recently, she has been playing the role of 911 dispatcher Maddie Buckley in the series 9-1-1. The 10th season officially premiered earlier this month on October 15.
