Jennifer Lopez will join Vice President Kamala Harris at a “When We Vote We Win” rally in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 31.
Lopez, we’re told, will speak on the importance of voting, what’s at stake for the country with this election and why she is endorsing Harris and Governor Tim Walz. Maná will also perform at the rally.
The event is part of the Harris-Walz campaign’s push to Get Out the Vote ahead of the last day of early voting in Nevada on November 1, and leading up to Election Day.
JLo on Sunday shared Harris’ plan on her Instagram story to build Puerto Rico’s economy and its energy grid amid a growing backlash after comedian Tony Hinchliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating pile of garbage” at Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally earlier in the day.
Puerto Rican recording artists Bad Bunny and Ricky Martin also have endorsed Harris.
In a video shared by Bad Bunny, Harris said, “I will never forget what Donald Trump did, and what he did not do, when Puerto Rico needed a caring and a competent leader. He abandoned the island, tried to block aid after back-to-back devastating hurricanes and offered nothing more than paper towels and insults.” The recording artist has 45.6 million Instagram followers.
Martin shared the video of Hinchcliffe’s remark and wrote on Instagram, “This is what they think of us.” Singer Luis Fonsi also posted a message calling attention to the comment.
