Jennifer Lopez tells paparazzi to 'relax' and 'stop acting crazy' in tense Paris exchange

Jennifer Lopez was seen pleading with a group of apparently eager paparazzi to calm down as they pursued her for photographs in Paris.

The 57-year-old was stepping out in the French capital for Fashion Week, during which she has attended shows by such brands as Stella McCartney.

As she dashed around the City of Light, she found herself being snapped by photographers whom she evidently began to find onerously keen.

In footage obtained by the Daily Mail, she wheeled around and demanded: 'Guys, can you stop acting crazy? Relax. Nobody's running anywhere. We're not doing anything.'

As one of the paparazzi advised her that their behavior was due to 'the heat,' she assured them they could 'take your picture' but asked them again to 'relax.'

The Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Lopez for comment. 

Draping her exquisitely toned figure in a full-length off-white lace dress, the Jenny from the Block hitmaker accessorized with a black leather Lady Dior bag. 

The Selena star warded off the rays with a set of large black-rimmed orange shades and added a touch of glitz with a subtle necklace.

Lopez brought the ensemble together with the quirky touch of a pair of white socks and a set of gleaming black loafers that matched her purse.

As Paris Fashion Week wore on, she donned a sumptuous fur coat to sit on a Stella McCartney front row and watch a cavalcade of models including Miranda Kerr.

Days earlier, Lopez had been at Milan Fashion Week attending a glamorous afterparty thrown by Vogue World in conjunction with Dolce & Gabbana.

Held at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II - an upscale mall right between the Milan Cathedral and La Scala - the fete saw Lopez mingle joyfully with the designers.

Lopez, a longtime friend of Dolce & Gabbana, recently signed an eyewatering $20 million deal to become the face of the Italian fashion brand.

Her latest bout of globetrotting comes on the heels of the Daily Mail's exclusive report that her loved ones are afraid she is skidding towards 'burning out' from overwork, nearly a quarter of a century after the nervous breakdown she suffered in 2002.

The Out of Sight actress is rumored to be planning an upcoming tour, on top of facing down promotions for two movies - a crime thriller called The Last Mrs Parrish directed by Robert Zemeckis and a concert film of her recent Las Vegas residency. 

Lopez's previously announced tour, This Is Me…Live, was meant to take place over the summer of 2024 but was abruptly canceled.

That August, the showbiz multihyphenate filed for divorce from her fourth husband Ben Affleck on what would have been their second wedding anniversary.

Her tour had been planned in support of her latest album This Is Me... Now, which was a pean to her renewed romance with the Argo director.

This Is Me...Now served as a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me...Then, which released in the throes of her first abortive relationship with Affleck. 

Lopez's fresh crop of professional commitments comes in the wake not only of her divorce, but also in the wake of her becoming an empty nester.

Her 18-year-old twins Max and Oskar, whom she welcomed with her third husband Marc Anthony, graduated high school this summer and have gone off to college.

Oskar's high school graduation coincided with the revelation of his new trans identity after spending the bulk of his life known as Emme.
