Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Reunite at His L.A. Home Amid Estrangement
This is a pair of friendly exes...now.
Less than five months after filing for divorce from estranged husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez reunited with the two-time Oscar winner at his home in Los Angeles.
In photos published by Daily Mail of the Jan. 5 meetup, Jennifer rocked a pair of light-wash jeans, platformed Ugg boots and a tan cropped long-sleeved shirt. The 55-year-old was seen smiling as she got out of the car in front of the residence before giving Ben's 12-year-old son Samuel—who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner—a big hug.
And Ben, 52, had an equally heartwarming reunion with Jennifer's 16-year-old Emme—who, along with Emme's twin brother Max, she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. At one point, the Good Will Hunting star was spotted emerging from the home behind the teenager, who grinned while holding onto a large, wrapped gift and donning headphones around their neck.
And while Ben didn't make an appearance in J.Lo's recap of her trip to Aspen during Christmas and New Year's, the estranged couple did spend some quality time together ahead of the holidays as well.
In fact, three days before Christmas, the J. Lo Beauty founder and Air director—who is also dad to kids Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 15, with Jennifer Garner—enjoyed a holiday meal together at Los Angeles' Soho House alongside their family members.
Of course, that's not to say navigating her breakup from Ben—who she filed for divorce from in August 2024 following two years of marriage—has always been easy. In fact, Jennifer recently got candid about how the "challenging relationships" she's had throughout her life are part of what connected her to Judy Robles, the real-life woman she portrays in the film Unstoppable, released in September 2024.

"We both had challenging relationships," Jennifer told Variety in an interview published Jan. 1, "which left us holding our families together."
Still, the "On the Floor" singer insists that there was no bad blood between her and Ben when they parted ways.
"You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn't," Jennifer said of their split in an October 2024 interview with Interview magazine. "And then, this summer, I had to be like, 'I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that.'"
