Unstoppable actress Jennifer Lopez shared that she's totally open to receiving the "brutally honest" opinions of her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme about her work.
Jennifer Lopez Says Her 2 Kids Share “Brutally Honest” Advice With Her
Jennifer Lopez's kids aren't afraid to get loud with their opinions.
The Unstoppable actress—who shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony—welcomes feedback from her kids about her work, because she knows they won't hold back.
"I think kids are like kind of wrapped up in their own lives a bit, but if you ask them, they will give you their honest opinion about everything, you know what I mean?" Jennifer exclusively told E! News in a recent interview. "They're ready to be brutally honest with you at times."
In fact, the "Waiting For Tonight" singer actively seeks out their opinions on certain projects she's working on, not only because she trusts their advice but also because she appreciates the perspective of the younger generation.
"I like my kids to see my work and know what I'm doing," she explained, "and I'll share certain things with them and say, 'What do you think of this?' or, 'What do you think of that?' And they always have an interesting perspective, because they're from a different generation." (For more with Jennifer and Judy Robles, who she plays in her new movie, tune into E! For the Hustlers star, bringing her children into the fold of her longtime profession adds immense value and makes her happy.
"It's really always additive as far as I'm concerned," Jennifer shared. "I always have such joy from hearing their thoughts and what they think about things."

While the 55-year-old—who is currently in the midst of a divorce from Ben Affleck—clearly values her kids' career advice, she also leans on them for emotional support, as well.
"It was a pretty intense year for me, and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast," Jennifer told People ahead of the holidays. "The holidays are such a special time for us, and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories."

"We don't get to see each other all year, so we kind of catch up on what everybody's doing and how life is,” she added. "It's just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it."
