Jennifer Lopez dons sexy neon green dress while recreating scene from 1999 hit music video

Jennifer Lopez put on a busty display while recreating a scene from her Waiting For Tonight music video, posted in time for the new year. 

On Tuesday, the 55-year-old pop sensation took to Instagram to re-share an old video of herself dancing the night away in the green satin gown as she held palm fronds against her face with the 26-year-old track playing in the background.

She shared the exact video back in October 29, 2023 while enjoying a 'date night' with her husband at the time, Ben Affleck, at her pal Pia Miller's 40th birthday party.

Her caramel-toned locks were let loose, fluttering in the air as she sported her signature full-glam makeup look comprised of a smokey-eye shadow and heavy bronzer.

The star appeared to channel specific scenes from the infamous 1999 music video, that sees the hitmaker showing off her moves in a glittering Y2K jungle-meets-club aesthetic. 

In the video, she frolics around in a futuristic rainforest setting as a countdown to the year 2000 brings on a flash mob. 

'Waiting For Tonight, 2025,' the vixen penned in the caption.

The ex-wife of Ben Affleck's nostalgic recreation was a hit with with her 249M followers, racking up thousands of likes and comments from fans wishing the star a Happy New Year.

'Iconic recreation,' one follower wrote, adding a green heart emoji. Another chimed in, 'Bring on 2025. The best is yet to come Jen. Wish you all the love and happiness in this world.#JlosComing.'

When she initially posted the video back in 2023, she captioned it: 'When your song comes on and you're next to a plant...waiting for Date night. #WaitingForTonight.'

However, a lot has changed since then — for one, she and Batman actor have since divorced.

Nearly two decades after they were first linked, she and the hunky actor eloped in 2022. They later had a more formal ceremony in Georgia.

Their relationship was not meant to be as Lopez filed for divorce from The Flash star in August 2024, citing 'irreconcilable differences.'

Just weeks ago, an insider close to the couple said that they 'have every intention of continuing to be in each other's lives despite not being romantically involved.'

Despite having obvious tension in the final months of their marriage, both Ben and Jen 'have a mutual respect for one another,' the source added.

They added that their regard for each other was strong enough to be enduring.

'They have a lot of history,' the source added, even as they admitted that Lopez and Affleck's relationship had been irreversibly altered by their failed marriage and divorce.

'Ben and Jennifer remain amicable whenever they do see each other,' the source continued. 'They’re still close with each other’s children, and even though they don’t have a co-parenting type of relationship, they still feel like a blended family in a lot of ways.'

Affleck shares three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner — Violet, 18; Fin, 15; and Samuel, 12 — while Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
