Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s Daughter Violet Speaks Out About Her "Post-Viral Condition"
Jennifer Garner and her son Samuel Affleck are in the spooky season spirit.
The 13 Going on 30 actress shared a rare video featuring her and Ben Affleck’s 12-year-old son. And it’s a fright.
The clip, shared on Instagram Oct. 27, opened with the onscreen text, “Moms in a haunted house,” as the camera was on Jennifer while her and Samuel made their way through the attraction.
“I see you, I see you,” the 52-year-old told one of the scare actors before she began to scream. In another motherly moment, Jennifer revealed that she hates when the actors “pursue” her before yelling, “Don’t pursue,” as she puts her hand up.
While Samuel does not appear on camera, the preteen offered up a series of screams with his mom, and at one point he tells hilariously tells her, “Mom you’re breaking my hand, I can’t actually feel my hand.”
Samuel can also be heard telling his mom, “I’m not alright.”
Jennifer and Samuel continued to have a series of jump scares before she jokingly told one of the haunted house actors, “I’m not who you want, take my son.”
Missing from the moment was Jennifer and her ex’s older children Violet, 18, and Serephina, 15.
Jennifer, who was married to Ben from 2005 to 2018, has largely kept her children of social media and out of the spotlight. However, the mother of three has proudly taken to her accounts to celebrate their moments.
In June, Jennifer along with Ben, hosted Samuel’s graduation party at the Oscar winning actor’s Brentwood, Calif. home. The same month, the Alias actress made rare comments about her children, as she penned an emotional thank you message to their teachers.
"Thank you for caring about my children with me," Jennifer wrote in a June 13 Instagram post, "for tying their shoes and holding their hands. Thank you for disciplining my kids when they've needed it and for offering more hugs than some children receive in a lifetime."
She continued, "I wanted my three to have a safe space where they could focus on the business of being little," she continued, "and where education and character were prioritized."
And Jennifer isn’t shy when it comes to motherhood being her favorite role. In May, the Yes Day star gushed about her “great” pregnancies and joked about doing it again.
"Oh my gosh. I'm 52 next week and I bet I could have one in a field right now," she joked on the May 8 episode of the Kelly Corrigan Wonders podcast. "I was born to breed, for sure—big hips."
