Jennifer Garner is back as the suspense builds in the first look at season two of Apple TV+’s The Last Thing He Told Me.

The actress, 53, reprises her role as Hannah, a woman searching for her husband Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) after his sudden disappearance in the series based on Laura Dave’s No. 1 New York Times bestseller.

Season two raises the stakes as Owen suddenly reappears after five years on the run, leaving Hannah and her stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) scrambling to reunite their family before old secrets catch up with them.

New photos show Garner wrapped in a blanket as she speaks with Coster-Waldau on a balcony - a striking moment that confirms the long-lost couple have finally crossed paths again.

Another image shows the Alias alum in a striking black-and-white dress, while a separate shot captures her mid-chase, sprinting down the street alongside Rice.

The first-look images arrive as Garner celebrates her baby food company reaching a valuation of nearly $845 million and opens up about co-parenting with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.

The star got candid about motherhood while promoting a new collaboration between her Once Upon A Farm baby food brand and Carter's.

‘I just have so much heart for young parents and how much you want to do everything right,’ the 53-year-old mother of three said. ‘I’ve been there. I know that pressure.’

The actress shares three children - Violet, 20, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 13 - with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 53.

Affleck also weighed in on parenting in the spotlight earlier this month, reflecting on the challenges of raising children as a public figure.

‘You put something on your children when you have a public life and that’s complicated,’ he told E! News.

‘We really want to give them room to figure out what they want to do,’ he added, explaining why he and Garner avoid pushing their children toward any specific career path.

He continued: ‘I wouldn’t push them into that. They’re brilliant and lovely and wonderful and we love them and we’re proud of them. And hope that they don’t waste their life acting.’

Samuel and Fin are currently full-time students, while Violet - who attends Yale University - has carved out a path for herself as an activist.

Garner and the Oscar-winning filmmaker married in 2005, announced their separation in 2015, and finalised their divorce three years later.

The actress has also been making waves in the business world, following the highly anticipated IPO of her baby food company, which saw shares climb beyond their debut.

Once Upon a Farm, the organic children’s food brand co-founded by Garner, debuted on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday with a valuation nearing $845 million.

The successful launch signals renewed momentum for consumer IPOs after a slow 2025.

The company was originally founded in 2015 by Cassandra Curtis and Ari Raz, with Garner joining two years later alongside former Annie’s CEO John Foraker as a co-founder.

Garner previously explained that the mission behind the brand resonated deeply with her own experience as a parent.

‘You could buy organic, fresh, refrigerated food for your dog or cat, but not for your baby,’ she told Yahoo Finance.

‘She was doing it with this tiny company - the first HPP, refrigerated, organic, fresh baby food - and I just wanted to be involved.’

‘I met John, and we started talking about how we could build a purpose-driven company together,’ Garner added.

‘We shook hands at the end of our first meeting. I’m in if you’re in - and here we are.’

Once Upon a Farm now offers a wide range of products for children of all ages, from cold-pressed pouches and pantry snacks to frozen meals and oat bars.

The brand is stocked by major retailers including Target, Kroger and Walmart, with many of its recipes inspired by Garner’s century-old family farm in Locust Grove, Oklahoma.
