Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Jim Curtis has given a rare insight into the couple's yearlong relationship, revealing how they manage to resolve difficult conflicts.

Curtis, 50, gushed over his 57-year-old superstar squeeze while appearing on The Jamie Kern Lima Show on Monday, just two days before the pair will make their first public appearance together at a book event in New York.

During the appearance, Lima asked the hypnotherapist if he and Aniston use a prayer he had previously shared, 'I’m sorry. I’m listening. Thank you. I love you,' which she found to be helpful with her husband.

'We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk,' Curtis said, before clarifying, 'We don’t use this particular prayer. We have. But it’s very easy.'

He went on to explain that his relationship with Aniston required a different approach because it's still so new for the two of them, whereas he thought the prayer that Lima cited is best for lowering the defenses of couples who have been together for years or decades.

'Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to...' he clarified, adding that they instead focus on 'meditation, acceptance, understanding.'

The interview was released before the two will make their first public appearance together at a book event in New York City on Wednesday, when Aniston will interview Curtis, a hypnotherapist, about his new tome The Book of Possibility on stage at the 92nd Street Y

'Those kinds of things. In the honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers,' Curtis added.

Elsewhere in the interview, he raved that things are going 'really well' with Aniston.

'My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving,' Curtis said of the Morning Show star. 'I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving.'

Aniston has a loyal group of friends that includes Friends costar Courteney Cox, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman, and Curtis says he's now a part of the fold.

Describing the close-knit crew as 'such a beautiful community and group of people,' the hypnotherapist said he feels 'blessed to be part [of] and welcomed into that family.'

'It really speaks to her — and them — that everybody is so grounded, so kind,' Curtis cooed. 'There’s a reason why that whole group and community is so beloved.'

Curtis spoke about their relationship shortly after it was alleged that his girlfriend is dead set against walking down the aisle with him after her previous failed marriages to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.

'They’re still very, very happy. But they have no intention of ever getting married — Jen swears she will never get married again,' an insider told Page Six last week.

However, the couple does plan to enhance their relationship's public profile on Wednesday when she interviews him onstage in New York City.

The event will be part of Curtis's promotions for his new self-help volume, The Book Of Possibility, and is said to have sold out as soon as tickets were made available to the public.

The event comes as a source said Aniston and Curtis' romance 'is succeeding on so many levels because it’s got things that Jen’s never had before.'

By contrast to her marriage to Theroux, Aniston is said to be secure enough with Curtis not to 'feel like she has to work to impress him or keep him.'

Furthermore, Aniston, whose first husband Brad Pitt infamously left her for his subsequent wife Angelina Jolie, 'doesn’t feel like she has to compete with other, more famous women who are after' Curtis, according to the insider.

'And most of all, she never ever questions where she stands with him — he has zero hesitation about letting her know that he is crazy about her and is totally devoted.'

Aniston and Curtis' appearance at the 92nd Street Y comes after she brought him to a Friends reunion dinner with Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cos in Los Angeles Tuesday.

As if that already wasn't enough star power, they were also joined on the outing by Arrested Development stars and pals Jason Bateman and Will Arnett

It seemed to be a joyous celebration as the star-studded group shared hugs and chats outside of the celeb-favorite Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.

Meanwhile, Cox took the plunge in a low-cut top tucked into black pants for the night out.

Curtis looked ruggedly handsome as he combed his hair back while showing off his jawline featuring grizzled scruff.

Aniston and Curtis were first linked on vacation with pals in Majorca last year.

The happy couple celebrated their one-year dating anniversary in May, with a source revealing exclusively to the Daily Mail what the couple did to mark the milestone.

The insider shared at the time that Aniston and Curtis planned to vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico after she finished filming season five of The Morning Show.

'They want to have some fun in the sun and toast a year of bliss in her favorite place in the world, Cabo,' the source revealed.

'She is head over heels for this guy and wants him to be her forever person, so it's fitting they take a romantic break to appreciate one another.'

The Daily Mail's insider also provided insight on how Curtis has fit into Aniston's A-list friend group, which includes Sandra Bullock, Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes.

'Jim fits right in with the crowd, they think he is a cool guy, which is very relaxing for Jen. She doesn't have to sell Jim, everyone is sold on him!

'Dinner parties, movie nights, premieres, they are easy breezy for Jen when Jim is by her side because he is so likable.'

Aniston is also reportedly so fond of her boyfriend because there is no competition between them – unlike her exes Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and Justin Theroux.

'It is all about her and how she feels and what she needs,' said the source. 'He never talks about his career or tries to network with her contacts, he has no interest in being an actor or being famous.

'She has said with him she can exhale, she can let herself go and breathe because there is no pressure.'

Being that Curtis is a life coach, he has reportedly been a healer for Aniston as well as her friend group.

'They’re still very, very happy,' an insider told Page Six: 'But they have no intention of ever getting married — Jen swears she will never get married again'

Meanwhile, the three Friends stars' reunion was not complete as David Schwimmer and Matt Leblanc were not seen on the outing. Matthew Perry passed away in 2023 (seen in 2000)

'Very often Jim gets people to take deep breaths, to focus on the here and now, to appreciate the good things in life, he is like a human peace sign.

'He is the dude everyone gravitates toward at a party,' the insider shared.

Aniston and Curtis started dating in early 2025 and were first spotted together in public in July, on vacation with friends.

They made their first official public appearance at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event in Beverly Hills on November 17, 2025.

They went Instagram official when she shared a photo of them together on Instagram around November 2, 2025.

Earlier this year, Curtis revealed that he and the Emmy-winner were introduced by mutual friends.

'We were just introduced by friends. That's it. We found out that we had mutual friends and we started to just chat,' he said on the Today show.

'It took a long time, we chatted for a long time and we became close.'

Meanwhile, the three Friends stars' reunion was not complete as David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc were not seen on the outing. Matthew Perry passed away in 2023.
