Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie Share Their Sweet Halloween Tradition
Treat yourself to this Halloween teaser.
With only a few days to go until Today’s highly anticipated holiday episode, Jenna Bush Hager confirmed she's cooking up something sweet for her costume.
"I have an extra special accessory this year,” she told E! News during Today’s Girls Getaway with co-host Sheinelle Jones. “We love Halloween.”
“Sheinelle said this, it's like our prom or our homecoming,” Bush Hager noted. "Everybody's in, and I think that's also such a fun environment to work, where people are enthusiastic about what we do and not like, 'Oh, this isn't cool.' We’re all in.”
And much like Today viewers, Bush Hager and Jones can’t wait to see what their co-anchors, including Craig Melvin, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker, dress up as.
"We come out with wonder too,” Jones shared. “It’s kind of fun to not know what the other is doing, so that when it all comes together, you're like, 'Oh!' So I actually try not to ask."
"Like right now, I have no idea what Craig is, or I don't know what Al is," the Today with Jenna & Sheinelle co-host explained. "Somehow it all comes together."
This year, Today's spooktacular Halloween episode will take place on Friday, Oct. 30.
"Just as much as I hope the readers are looking forward to it," Jones noted, "so are we."

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since fans fell crazy in love with Jones' Beyoncé costume—who could forget her Cowboy Carter-inspired ensemble?
She even got in formation to perform a dance routine on Today. As the journalist shared with E! News at the time, "I made it up in my living room."

Meanwhile, in a groundbreaking move, Bush Hager transformed into Anna Wintour for Today's 2025 celebration, alongside Guthrie, who dressed up as The Devil Wears Prada character Miranda Priestley.
“I feel very Anna,” Bush Hager, who donned Wintour's signature bob and accessories for the episode, told Today at the time. “Sunglasses on, most important, inside.”
So, what will the Today co-hosts dress up as this year? While we wait for the reveal, keep reading to see all the celebrities who've already kicked off Halloween 2026.
