EXCLUSIVE: Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Aidan Quinn (The Walsh Sisters) and Leslie Bibb (The White Lotus) have joined Hal, the forthcoming indie drama from director Mark Williams and his Zero Gravity Management.

The actors join the previously announced Alexander Ludwig, Emma Roberts, and Ernie Hudson in the cast.

Currently in production in Atlanta, Hal centers on Hal Donaldson (Ludwig), a journalist shaped by early hardship who believes his voice is his path forward. When he meets Doree (Roberts), a gifted musician, their relationship becomes the foundation that steadies him as his career takes him to places marked by deep suffering.

As Hal witnesses crisis and inequality firsthand, the line between observing and acting begins to blur. Confronted with the limits of telling stories alone, he is drawn toward a calling that requires more than words — setting in motion the events that lead to the creation of the humanitarian organization Convoy of Hope.

In the film, written by Mark Edwin Robinson, Donovan and Quinn are respectively playing Dan Oliver and Professor Tigues, two guiding educational figures in Hal’s life. Bibb plays Hal’s soft-spoken and resilient mother, Betty.

Known for his work in projects like Burn Notice and the Sicario films, Donovan’s recent credits include Law & Order, National Champions, and Wrath of Man. He is represented by Gersh and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum

Seen in more than 40 features — Legends of the Fall, Desperately Seeking Susan, The Mission, and Michael Collins among them – Quinn’s most recently been seen on the shows The Walsh Sisters and Rematch for Stan and Arte. He is represented by Framework, Curtis Brown, and Schreck Rose Dapello.

Recently seen in Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 and the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus, Bibb currently stars in Apple TV’s Palm Royale. She is represented by UTA and LBI Entertainment.
