Andy Cohen Reveals How His Kids Feel About Boyfriend Kevin Sobieski
Jeff Lewis is watching what happens when Andy Cohen hires a babysitter and he is not impressed.
After all, the Flipping Out star poked fun at the radio host after learning that he paid his 23-year-old babysitter about $30 an hour to watch his kids Benjamin, 6, and Lucy, 4.
"That sounds cheap to me," Lewis said on the Sept. 28 episode of SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live. "Especially from someone with your money! She was there for two hours, and you gave her sixty bucks? Did that even cover the cab?"
Cohen clarified, "She was there for two hours and fifteen minutes, so I gave her $70."
However, Lewis revealed that he pays his babysitter $37 an hour to watch his 9-year-old daughter Monroe.
"I probably would've given her a hundred for two hours," the interior designer added, "[with] two kids."
Of course, that's not to say Cohen doesn't understand the gravity of caring for his children. In fact, the TV personality said being a dad to two kids flipped his life upside down in the best way possible.
"Parenting has changed me in every way," he told longtime friend Anderson Cooper in a May 2023 CBS News interview. "My priorities have completely shifted. I think my sense of accomplishment has totally changed."
"Even just getting your kids breakfast and getting them out to school," he continued, "when I drop him off at school, I'm like, 'You did it, dude! That was a rough two-and-a-half hours, you know?'"
And now, the Watch What Happens Live host has his boyfriend Kevin Sobieski to lean on.
"People have asked me for a long time, 'When are you going to get a boyfriend? Why don't you have a boyfriend?'" he reflected on his radio show in June. "And I have always said, 'I will know when I meet the person.'"

"It's always been a feeling for me and I am really happy to say that I met the person, you guys," he continued. "This man is kind and strong and smart and he is an adult and he loves my children and they love him. I love him."
Cohen emphasized that he and Sobieski took their time to blend their lives.
"We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other and introducing him to the kids," he noted, "and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly and I have to say it has been so easy."
