Jay Leno was spotted tending to his vintage car on the side of the road in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The 75-year-old comedian – who appeared to have a swollen cheek two weeks ago – was seen hunched over the hood of an old black car in Studio City on Saturday.

He was dressed in light blue button-up jean shirt with his phone and eyeglasses tucked in each of its two front pockets.

The retired late night host added a pair of belted darker blue jeans and wore black sneakers.

He was clean-shaven and his signature white-gray hair fell over his forehead as he inspected the vehicle.

It comes more than three years after he was badly burned when a vintage 1907 engine he was working on exploded in his face.

At the time, Leno was hospitalized following the fiery explosion at his private garage, where he keeps his vintage car collection.

George Swift, a mechanic in the garage, later told ET that it was a steam car that sent the star to the hospital.

'It was a steam car. This steam was made by gas. It got sprayed, as a gas,' the automotive professional said.

'He called me, and he told me there was a fire and the fire department is coming,' the employee added.

Leno suffered another terrifying accident in late 2024 after falling 60ft down a hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The tumble left him with a disturbing black and blue bruise on his face.

Speaking to Inside Edition after the incident, he said, 'I broke my wrist, lost my nail on the finger. I'm all black and blue from 60 feet of hitting rocks.'

Despite the serious fall, the seasoned professional performed a show in Greensburg just hours later.

In January Leno revealed that people are 'shocked' he stayed by his wife Mavis' side following her dementia diagnosis.

He discussed the importance of his marriage vows while appearing on an episode of the Life Above the Noise With Maria Shriver podcast.

The comedian shared that one person crassly asked him whether he was 'gonna get a girlfriend now,' after Mavis, 79, was diagnosed with advanced dementia in early 2024.

'I've said this a bunch of times – you take a vow when you get married and people are stunned... they're so shocked that you would live up to it,' he said.

Leno said he's confused by people's surprised reaction, reflecting, 'You're just doing the right thing because you’re supposed to.

'That used to be the norm, and then when you strayed that was the out of whack part.'
