Jax Taylor gets cozy with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright's longtime publicist during steamy getaway

Jax Taylor was pictured putting on a cozy display with estranged wife Brittany Cartwright's publicist Lori Krebs in Mexico. 

The 47-year-old reality TV star and Krebs were spotted holding each other while taking a dip in the pool over the weekend at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta.

The duo looked entirely wrapped up in each other, embracing chest-to-chest as they floated together. 

The Valley star showed off his tattooed torso as he went shirtless for the dip, while Krebs - who has represented both Taylor and Cartwright for years - wore a black bathing suit. 

Taylor and Krebs were in Puerto Vallarta celebrating his birthday with a group of friends. 

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Taylor, Cartwright and Krebs for comment. 

Krebs was later seen unwinding on a pool lounger in a bright yellow dress as Taylor continued to relax in the luxury pool. 

The twosome stayed close, hugged throughout the day, and were not trying to hide that they were together, according to a source who spoke with TMZ.

The photos have reportedly left Cartwright feeling 'betrayed' by Krebs, according to Page Six. 

A source noted that the Vanderpump Rules star is upset with her publicist rather than Taylor, explaining that she 'doesn’t expect much from him at this point.'

'When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on,' a source told the publication.

'She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?'

The insider added that Krebs always 'inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients,' but this time she 'crossed a line she cannot come back from.'

The LoriK Public Relations founder has seemingly deactivated her Instagram account shortly before the photos surfaced on Monday. 

It's not the first time Taylor has been linked to the publicist.

Fans previously speculated about a potential spark between the pair all the way back in February 2024, after the reality star shared an affectionate photo alongside Krebs on Instagram.

Taylor and Cartwright shut down the romance rumors at the time. 

Taylor later denied the romance claims once again during the White House Correspondents Dinner, telling ET, 'Oh, that, not again. That was all just hearsay, and it's just a shame that that happened. But yeah, no, nothing happened there.' 

He also denied that infidelity played a role in his split from Cartwright.

'No no, and everybody just assumes when there's a split there's infidelity and there's cheating. Believe it or not, there are other reasons too. I know I don't have the best track record but no this was just a communication thing.'

Krebs specializes in 'celebrity management and partnerships,' per her website.

In addition to handling public relations for the Vanderpump Rules stars, her talent portfolio boasts celebrities from rival Bravo hit Southern Charm as well as prominent alumni from Bachelor Nation. 

Cartwright and Taylor wed on their TV show, Vanderpump Rules, in 2019. 

Their marriage crumbled on camera before Cartwright filed for divorce in 2024. The divorce has not yet been finalized. 

The pair share five-year-old son Cruz together.

Months prior to Brittany filing for divorce, she had already revealed to the public that they had been living separately for months. 

Last year, Cartwright - who had a 'mommy makeover' last year - got candid about entering the dating scene as a single mom and called it 'weird.'

'I haven't dated that much. I know it looks like it, but every person I freaking dated was in the news. I'm single as they come. We'll see what happens,' she told the Daily Mail at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.

Cartwright also explained her marital woes and lack of intimacy with Taylor began to affect her self esteem.

'I felt like I wasn't good enough. If you start to feel like your partner doesn't want you and they're also being mean to you, it's like, "What am I doing here?" I'm basically living with a roommate. I hit my breaking point,' she told Us Weekly.

'I don't want to be unhappy for the rest of my life. I don't want to be in a sexless marriage for the rest of my life. I don't want to be arguing with my husband for the rest of my life.'
