In September Jane couldn't contain her laughter during a hilarious interaction with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp on The One Show.

The former Loose Women star was left baffled by an odd turn of phrase during her interview on the BBC daytime show.

She was on the show to discuss her new book and how her family helped mould her career.

'I've always had that mentality, put out there, know your boundaries and know your own worth. So, I'm a great believer in that,' Jane explained.

However, things took a turn when presenter Alex jokingly quipped: 'That's a great piece of advice. It's a bit early, to mention the C-word.'

'Yeah,' responded Jane, after being left speechless for a moment live on air, before Alex confirmed she meant 'Christmas'.

'Oh!,' laughed Jane as she reached over in shock and grabbed the knee of fellow guest The Script's Danny O'Donoghue.

The studio erupted into fits of laughter, with Danny playfully chiming in with: 'You were asking me not to curse before.'

The glitzy cast took their own following the energetic finale

Speaking on the panel show, Jane said: 'If I could get my mother and Ed back, I would in a heartbeat. But I can't. You've got to realise that life goes on and I want to live. I love life.

'We don't know how many days we've got and Ed died very young. I want to just do everything I want to do. I'm moving forward and taking them with me.'

Jane's partner tragically died during the height of the COVID pandemic and despite finding the discussion upsetting, the star emphasised that she was grateful for the time she had had with him.
