Jamie Laing has left fans in hysterics after he was mistaken for One Tree Hill psycho stalker 'Derek' by US audiences on Tuesday night.
The former Made In Chelsea star is currently over in Los Angeles with his wife Sophie Habboo.
And the TV personality was invited to this week's episode of Dancing With The Stars as the couples took to the dancefloor again.
However Jamie soon found himself victim of an unfortunate crowd cameo as he was snapped looking petrified while applauding the contestants.
And the US audience mistook him for 'Derek' the psycho stalker from the American teen drama series.
Taking to Instagram, Jamie shared a comparison photo with Matt Barr, who played Ian Banks (also known as Derek).

He penned: 'Not the US audience thinking I was Peyton Sawyer's Stalker from One Tree Hill... Apparently his name is Derek.'
Fans flooded the comments with laughing emojis as they joked: 'I am deadddd.'
Others wrote: 'Watched this the other day and I can confirm (from the uk) i still thought it was you at first glance!';
'LMFAO I'm from Canada. Very confused when I saw the caption. I know very well you are not psycho Derek.'
Jamie and Sophie have been in LA for the last few weeks and are filming the new episodes of their podcast out there.
Jamie also took to Instagram on Monday as he celebrated Sophie's birthday with a sweet dedicated post.
Sharing snaps of Sophie holding balloons he wrote: 'Happy Birthday to my absolute G.O.A.T!
'The best friend, wife and mum Ziggy and I could ask for. We wouldn’t be able to do life without you.'
Meanwhile Jamie previously admitted he was 'in the trenches' due to the impact that fatherhood has had on him since welcoming his son Ziggy.
Back in June, Jamie detailed the struggle to manage his business and look after his son, seven months, while saying he previously lived a 'selfish life'.
Sharing the candid statement, Jamie wrote: 'I'm going to be real for a second. I'm in the trenches right now. Ziggy is 7 months old.
'And running my business while juggling parenthood, while trying to see friends has been… hard. Harder than I was ever told it'd be. Harder than (honestly) I was prepared for.'
Jamie reflected on what his life was like pre-parenthood, revealing he could get up and do whatever he felt like doing because his business was his only worry.

He said: 'Before I was a dad, I was honestly kinda selfish haha. I'd wake up and do whatever I wanted. Gym, coffee run, walk.
'Work would leak into times when it shouldn't - early mornings, late evenings, events. My business was all I really had to worry about.
He continued: 'Now my baby bookends my days. He's my first thing and my last thing. And the time in between is spent just cramming in as much as I possibly can.
'The best way I can describe it is like you're treading water, waiting for a ladder to be dropped down from a boat. The scenery is beautiful, the water is warm, but the ladder never comes. It's hard work to keep your head above the water - but you're struggling in the most wonderful place you've ever known.
'So yes, I'm in the trenches. But honestly… leave me here hahahaha. I love it!!
'I've had a moment to think this week and I just wanted to share this little life update - for me, for Sophie and for anyone who might be able to relate. The last 7 months have been a wild ride, but I honestly wouldn't swap it for the world.
'If you're in the trenches too right now, just know you're not alone. It's mental. But it's the best kind of mental.
'(Oh and to everyone I ever told I was tired before Ziggy - sorry!! I didn't know the meaning of the word).'
