Jade Thirlwall reveals she's 'reached out and said thank you' to Kylie Jenner after Angel Of My Dreams went viral following the Victoria's Secret Show

Jade Thirlwall has revealed she 'reached out to say thank you' to Kylie Jenner after the Victoria's Secret show turned her song Angel Of My Dreams into a viral hit.

Kylie graced the famous runway show last week to the Little Mix star's solo track, sporting the sought-after angel wings and $50million Fantasy bra.

The clip quickly went viral on social media, with Angel Of My Dreams seeing a huge spike in US streaming after thousands of fans recreated the moment on TikTok.

Spotify saw a 4,300 per cent global increase for Angel Of My Dreams and a 760 per cent increase in streams for JADE globally.

Jade has now revealed that the surprise resurgence of her song 'hasn't sunk in', and she wants to send a gift to Kylie offering her thanks.

She said: 'I've reached out and just said thank you. I'm gonna have to send her something and the Victoria's Secret team.'

She went on to tell Rolling Stone: 'I feel like it still hasn't sunk in yet. What's going on? I feel like every artist dreams of your song taking off, but the fact that Angel of My Dreams came out two years ago - in my head, it was a worldwide smash. 

'It got the reviews and the credibility it deserved, and it got a lot of attention at the time and a lot of respect as a pop song. And at the time, I was like, OK, well, that's enough for me. 

'With what the song's about, I was like, no, I'm at peace with that amount of success for this, even though in my head I thought it deserved more.'

Jade has been basking in the glory of her song's surprise resurgence, and last week shared fun TikTok videos including one wearing a Newcastle football shirt joking she is the 'angel of the north'. 

She also shared a chaotic video looking panicked and said she is busy 'promoting my debut single from two years ago because it got played at the VS fashion show'.

She added that she is trying to give the track, which was released in July 2024, 'its well deserved moment' but is also busy 'writing new music at the same time'. 

Jade, who found fame in the UK on the X Factor with Little Mix in 2011, first broke her silence on the iconic Victoria's Secret moment as she travelled around London on the tube.

Looking around the underground, she penned: 'Nobody on this tube knows that my debut single was playing while Kylie Jenner wore the fantasy bra at the VS fashion show.'

Kylie wowed the audience and viewers as she strutted the catwalk in the famous $50million fantasy bra with Angel of My Dreams playing. 

Jade sings in the chorus, 'Angel of my dreams / I will always love you and hate you, it’s not fair / It’s so bittersweet / I will always want you and need you, you don’t care / You don’t.'

Jade launched her solo career following Little Mix's 2022 hiatus and went on to release Angel Of My Dreams in 2024 which peaked in the UK charts at seven.

She has since gone on to win Best Pop Act at the 2025 BRIT Awards and dropped her debut album, That's Showbiz, Baby! last year.

Kylie had everyone talking last week after she wore the crown jewel of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday, which is ordinarily worn by experienced models who have already paid their dues on the runway.

Yet the TV personality sparked backlash after she walked down the runway in it, becoming the first non-Angel to do so. 

Critics called for the show to be cancelled after Kylie wore the iconic gemstone-encrusted $50million (£38million) Fantasy Bra at the fashion spectacle, which took place in Culver City, California.

Past models who have worn the iconic bra include Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tyra Banks and Candice Swanepoel.
