Jackie 'O' Henderson's mysteriously deleted podcast about a 'career change' before her fallout with Kyle Sandilands takes centre stage in explosive ARN court battle

An episode of Jackie 'O' Henderson's podcast that was mysteriously deleted has become a new point of contention in her Federal Court battle with ARN. 

In new court documents, ARN allege Henderson removed a February 4 episode of her Her Best Life podcast in late July or early August, along with all episodes released before it.

In the episode, Henderson and her co-host Gemma O'Neill - who is also her manager - discussed several 'realisations' Henderson had experienced around Christmas and New Year. 

According to ARN, Henderson revealed to O'Neill that she suddenly knew what decisions she needed to make in her life - including whether to cut ties with someone and make a career change. 

ARN is now using that conversation as part of its argument that Henderson had already been thinking about making changes to her career before her dramatic fallout with Kyle Sandilands on February 20.

The timing is particularly interesting because the podcast was released 16 days before the incident that led to the collapse of The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

ARN claim Henderson had also decided by February 23 to work on another show at a different time of day.

Henderson's lawyers later formally complained to ARN about her treatment at work and said she could no longer work with Sandilands.

Her lawyers said she was willing to continue working for ARN, but wanted the company to find her an alternative timeslot.

ARN's argument is that Henderson was effectively trying to get out of her contractual obligation to work on the breakfast show with Sandilands.

The deleted podcast has become particularly significant because ARN claim the episode was removed after the company had already raised its contents in the court case.

ARN is asking the Federal Court to treat the removal as an 'admission' that the material was damaging or relevant to Henderson's case.

The case centres on Henderson's lucrative broadcasting contract, which ARN terminated on March 3.

Henderson is suing ARN, while the company has launched its own counterclaim, arguing that she and her company indicated they would no longer provide the services they were contracted to provide.

The Federal Court has not yet determined either side's allegations.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Henderson's doctor has diagnosed her with post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of working with Sandilands. 

The former radio star's mental health concerns were raised in the documents filed with the Federal Court and released on Tuesday. 

As she wars with her former employer seeking an $82 million payout, Henderson's PTSD was mentioned in a medical report prepared by Dr Jonathan Phillips.

Dr Phillips stated that Henderson, 'is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder arising as a result of 'the ongoing bullying perpetrated by Sandilands' and 'the failure of ARN to offer appropriate care and protection.'

In an additional sworn statement, Henderson said she was 'belittled' and 'humiliated' by her 'unpredictable and erratic' former co-host.

'I felt that the constant attacking of my character and putting me down at work by Mr Sandilands was slowly wearing me down,' she said in the statement.

'I felt exhausted and like I wanted to give up. I felt like this treatment was happening in subtle ways but regularly. It felt like bullying.'

Henderson added that the treatment worsened from 2023 onwards and left her feeling anxious.

'I often drove to work with a low level sense of anxiety and dread, which caused me to feel worn down over time,' she said.

'The cumulative effect was that I felt emotionally unsafe in the workplace, even during periods where the relationship appeared outwardly positive.'
