Jack Osbourne reveals his fears of being forgotten as he pushes for return of family podcast after dad Ozzy's death

Jack Osbourne’s been taking a walk down memory lane on social media this summer, and now, we know why.

From throwback carousels of his time as a youngster at his father, Ozzy Osbourne’s music festivals to clips from his family’s former MTV reality show and more, the 40-year-old entrepreneur wants people to remember he grew up in a pretty exciting way.

'I don't know,' the Spark streaming platform co-founder told the Daily Mail exclusively. 'It's just cyclical, kind of. 

'I think people get bored of just seeing me doing what I do now because it's pretty boring. I've just been finding stuff to post. Why not, you know? It's out there.'

After what he’s been dealing with in his personal life, it makes sense that the-father-of-five is reminiscing about his younger years.

On July 22, 2025, his dad passed away in London after battling coronary artery issues and Parkinson’s Disease for years. He was 76.

Jack has been quite open about the difficulties surrounding the death of his father for not just himself, but the entire family.

'I haven’t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much. I’m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches,' Jack said about his father on his social media page shortly after his death. 

'He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be a part of a very small group that got to call him "Dad."

'My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.'

He then shared a quote from journalist Hunter S Thompson that he said 'best describes his father.'

'Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body... but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a ride!"' it read.

'That was my dad. He lived and he lived his life fully,' Jack continued. 'I love you dad.'

Jack has been keeping the family legacy alive with the help of his mom, Sharon Osbourne, and sister Kelly Osbourne, too.

After taking time off from The Osbourne Family podcast to grieve, Sharon, 73, and her son returned to the mic alongside Kelly, 41, in November 2025 – six months after Ozzy’s passing – to address the fans.

Sharon and Jack have only recorded together twice since the emotional episode, though they are leaving the door cracked open for more in the near future while he also dabbles in his other projects.

'Hopefully, yeah,' Jack said of the podcast return. 'I think we're gonna start doing it a little bit more, but right now, my focus very much is on doing stuff for Spark. 

'I'm gonna be doing a new podcast for them, actually, in the UFO space, so that's kind of where I'm putting a lot of my energy right now.'

In his latest endeavor, Jack, alongside Serena DC and Michael Mazzola, co-founded Spark, a digital streaming platform set to bring Hollywood production value to the mysteries of the universe, redefining how audiences engage with the paranormal, UFOs and consciousness with over 2,500 hours of content. 

And while his love of the space isn’t new, he revealed that his daughters are way more interested in his passion than his mother.

'I think it's not one of those things that occupies a huge amount of their day to day like mine,' Jack said. 

'But they're certainly [open to it]. My daughters are, and my mom is very much a skeptic. But, you know, she has her toe in the water a little bit.'

With the network giving platforms to celebrities like Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess, Randy Spelling, Daniel Goddard and more, Jack’s partner, Serena DC, saw opportunity for the Hollywood crossover and immediately took it.

'One thing we've always found with UFO and paranormal content is traditionally not much budget is thrown at these productions,' Serena said. 

'They tend to be kind of Indie, a little bit cheaper looking, a little bit kind of scrappy, and so what we really wanted to do was throw a bit of Hollywood cachet at this kind of content, because there's huge interest in the UFO and paranormal world in 2026. We just kind of wanted to aggregate it to one destination.'

'There's so much stuff on all these different platforms,' Serena continued. 'But, you know, we wanted to curate kind of what we own, our own library of stuff that we're interested in.'
