There's no doubt that The Mandalorian was really the shot in the arm Star Wars needed when it first rocked onto our screens all the way back in 2019. Though many would argue that it didn't necessarily carry that early momentum forward as effectively as it could have done, there was certainly enough support there to justify its continued existence.
That eventually manifested in The Mandalorian and Grogu, which again didn't manage to reach the heights of the early series, but still proved to be a fun time if you were already a fan. What Disney plans to do with the series next is unclear at this point, but there is a physical release on the way next year that is a lot more premium than the usual offerings.
Over on the Sideshow website, you should be able to find the store listing for The Mandalorian and Grogu, a quarter-scale statue cast in highly durable polystone. Measuring in at an impressive 22.5 inches, it features a very impressive likeness of actor Pedro Pascal, as well as giving players the option to use the iconic helmet.
At the same time, you're also provided with an alternate arm (holding the helmet) if you do decide that you want to stare at Pascal's face all day. As you might expect, the huge effort and high-quality materials that go into the product don't come cheap, and you'll be separated from if you want to secure it.
The only other caveat to all of that good fun is that the statue isn't ready to go yet, and you will be looking at a wait if you decide to pre-order today. Current estimates put the statue in fan hands any time between July 2027-September 2027, though that is subject to change if there is an issue producing the statue in a timely manner.
As for what's going on with the franchise as a whole moving forward, it would be a surprise if Disney are entirely done with the characters and world-building they have done in The Mandalorian so far. There definitely won't be a fourth season of the TV show, despite the fact that it was supposedly already written, which means big screen appearances are much more likely from here on out. What exactly that looks like remains to be seen, but seeing Grogu as a fully-fledged force user really could be something to behold.
