The Bad Guys are about to be back and badder than ever. Last year, Netflix explored a new side of DreamWorks' favorite reformed criminals through the series The Bad Guys: Breaking In, which focused on the gang's rise fromunremarkable petty crooks to the worst of the worst before they ultimately turned over a new leaf. Their daring heist-a-thon in Season 1 succeeded in finally putting them on the map, and now, they're looking for that one big score that will firmly solidify their status as evildoers of legend. Ahead of the Season 2 premiere next month, Collider can exclusively share a new trailer packed with action as the Bad Guys go bigger and bolder with their schemes.

In Season 2, Mr. Wolf and company celebrate their precipitous rise in the criminal world by moving into a snazzy new evil lair where their creatively devious ideas can flow. There ain't no rest for the wicked, though, as they continue trying to build their fearsome reputation. In addition to more inventive heists, the crew will be up against some old foes with axes to grind, and they'll meet Wolf's old mentor, who has re-emerged for more mischief. However, the biggest challenge will be the arrival of a vigilante who calls for an end to all crime in the city and takes matters into their own hands. To stop that reality from happening, the Bad Guys must take a stand for all of crime-kind and reclaim their home for troublemaking of all kinds.

The trailer begins with The Bad Guys becoming big shots, appearing in the newspaper for the first time, and striking fear in everyone they pass on the street. It's a milestone achievement that Shark keeps for the scrapbook, but it's just the beginning. Although the team has never been the best at being bad, they're starting to look the part of proper criminals, pulling off daring getaways and Mission: Impossible-style infiltrations. They do it all for love of the game, embracing the thrill of dodging laser systems and security robots to come away with the big score. More experience hasn't made them any less vulnerable to overconfidence, though.

'The Bad Guys 2' Is Also Coming Soon to Netflix

All the main cast members from Season 1 of The Bad Guys: Breaking In have returned, with Michael Godere as Wolf, Ezekiel Ajeigbe as Shark, Raul Ceballos as Piranha, Chris Diamantopoulos as Snake, Mallory Low as Tarantula, Zehra Fazal as Tiffany Fluffit, Patton Oswalt as Mr. Wigglesworth, and Kate Mulgrew as Serpentina. They step in for a big-screen cast featuring Sam Rockwell, Craig Robinson, Awkwafina, Anthony Ramos, and Mark Maron as the titular Bad Guys. Executive producers Bret Haaland and Katherine Nolfi, who developed the series, are also back for more mischief. The timing couldn't be much better for more from the gang, as Netflix is soon set to welcome last year's acclaimed sequel, The Bad Guys 2, to its catalog on March 21. With Pierre Perifel's original film and the animated specials Haunted Heist and A Very Bad Holiday also on the platform, it will soon officially be the place to see all The Bad Guys adventures, from their earliest crimes to their redemption as unlikely heroes after stopping the villainous Bad Girls.

The Bad Guys: Breaking In returns for Season 2 on April 2. Check out the exclusive trailer in the player above.
