Marvel Rivals took the world by storm from the moment it was released, and now Peni Parker mains have a few words to say to their competitors about her Bionic Spider-Nest. Peni Parker sports a mech-suit known as SP//dr, and her Arachno Mines that come from said suit are not only highly powerful but extremely annoying to the opposition.
A recent Reddit post garnered a lot of attention after user Few-Doughnut6957 mentioned that their team needs to focus on the Spider-Nest Peni places down on the ground. The nest throws Arachno Mines out over time, and when a player steps on one, it explodes and causes a decent chunk of health to be taken away. While the initial comments agree with the original statement, Peni Parker mains want fans to simply pretend they aren't there, and came up with hilarious alternatives to what the nest really is.

While the original point of the post was to tell players to shoot and destroy the Spider-Nest, the comments ended up taking a wild turn for those who play Peni Parker consistently and don't want their mines to be destroyed. Commenter NebulaGeneral2404 states, "It does nothing. Please ignore it. It's just a decoration on the map. No need to contest it. It's completely fine. :)", basically trying to sway the opposition from destroying their main source of damage.

Marvel Rivals has become one of my favorite games to play, and its player base continues to grow. Before more characters are added, I have to say that I have found huge success when playing Peni Parker. She is my favorite Vanguard, being able to spam an area with her mines and incapacitate enemies with webs while also healing some of her health. Groot has also been another successful choice for me, and I'm familiarizing myself with the powerful Doctor Strange right now.
From there, the comments got more and more ridiculous. As ehjhockey says, "Bots in the webs? Do you hear yourself? You’re spending too much time with Moon Knight. He’s making you paranoid." Others mention that the Spider-Nest is simply a trash can, a miniature oven that bakes cookies, or even a free hug machine that gives big hugs when players approach it.

Peni Parker's mines are a force to be reckoned with in Marvel Rivals, and they can be very unforgiving to those who accidentally step on them as they attempt to steal an objective. As a Rivals player myself who occasionally plays Peni, I can attest to the fact that more players need to focus on the nest before diving headfirst into a plethora of mines. I had Jeff come in and use the Ultimate ability "IT'S JEFF" and ended up getting blasted to bits because my entire team happened to be standing right next to my Spider-Nest --- and all the mines hidden within the webs.
While Peni Parker mains might want you to ignore the Arachno Mines, anyone wanting to take over the point and be able to push without fear of the entire team exploding should focus on the Bionic Spider-Nest before attempting to push in Marvel Rivals.
