Pink Speaks Out Amid Carey Hart Breakup Rumors
Pink is raising her glass to a new daytime venture—temporarily.
While the "So What" singer is set to guest host Kelly Clarkson's eponymous talk show this week, it's not a permanent position. In fact, Pink (real name Alecia Beth Moore-Hart) is simply stepping in as emcee for the first week of March 2026 to kick off Women’s History Month.
"Hi everybody. Just in a continuation of debunking all of the sources that we've got going on in the world," Pink recently shared in a since-deleted Instagram video, "I'm not taking over the Kelly Clarkson Show."
Rumors about Pink's potential takeover came after Kelly announced that her eponymous talk show would end after seven seasons.
"I'm doing a fun thing for my buddy Kelly, because it's a fun thing," Pink continued in the poolside video. "If I wanted a talk show, I would not have to audition. I would just have one, and it would be amazing, not something I'm currently researching or looking for in my busy, busy, busy world."
She originally announced her turn as guest host last month.
“I’ve played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat!” the 46-year-old shared in a February statement. “Let’s celebrate women, joy, resilience, and whatever comes else comes our way!”
Pink—mom to kids Willow, 14, and Jameson, 9, with husband Carey Hart—had previously appeared on Kelly’s show in 2023 to participate as a guest on her inaugural Songs & Stories episode, which eventually grew into a four-episode primetime special that aired on NBC last year.

As for Kelly—mom to kids River Rose, 11, and Remy, 9, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who died in August following a battle with cancer—she previously detailed why she chose to step away from her Emmy-winning show, a decision she described as “really hard.”
“Our family life, the dynamic changed a bit, and it has changed for a minute now,” she said during a February appearance on Today. “It’s one of those things like, you kind of start seeing life as how precious it is, too.”

But while Kelly won’t be hosting an hour of daytime TV anymore, she emphasized she will still be making music, performing shows and starring periodically on The Voice.
“I know everybody thinks, 'Oh she’s like quit,’” she continued. “I’m really busy. I still have other jobs, I’m still doing stuff. There’s just too much on the plate, so I was like you know what? It’s time to pull back.”

And now I'm turning off my comments and shaking my head at the state of social media and keyboard warriors, And the negativity that you bring to other people's lives. There is something seriously wrong with a lot of you out there. Smfh. Here's a picture of the pelican we obviously caught and abused for hours before dangling baby penis in its face."
