Is Brad Pitt taking fashion tips from Harry Styles? Hollywood actor debuts new trendy makeover featuring sheer shirts, bold suits, patterned pants and platform boots

He might be double his age, but Brad Pitt appears to be giving Harry Styles a run for his money with his recent array of stylish looks. 

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker, 30, has become known for his colourful prints and bold suits. 

And it seems Brad, 60, has been secretly taking inspiration and has given his wardrobe a trendy overhaul, ditching the classic tailored suits for something a bit more Styles. 

The Hollywood actor made his red carpet debut with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 34, at the Wolfs Venice Film Festival premiere on Sunday as he experimented in a custom Louis Vuitton suit.

And with Brad appearing to only get trendier with age, MailOnline takes a dive into  his Styles-inspired looks.  

The sheer look  

Brad made sure to turn heads on Sunday evening, when unlike his co-star George Clooney, 63, who wore a classic tailored black suit and bow tie, Brad decided to experiment with fashion in a custom Louis Vuitton suit. 

Brad dared to wear a sheer black shirt underneath the oversized blazer which had a pearl button and accessorised with layers of necklaces and rings. 

His flared trousers were also talking point as they trailed along the floor, just enough to let his black platform boots poke out from underneath. 

The Fight Club star looked to have taken inspiration from Harry's look at the Met Gala back in 2019 where he pulled out all the stops in a semi-sheer black lace ensemble, one dangling pearl earring and heels.

Taking into consideration that year's theme of Camp: Notes on Fashion, Harry boosted his height with a pair of shiny black heeled shoes rather similar to those worn by Brad last weekend. 

Over the years Harry has proved he is a dedicated wearer of flares, after he also wore a pair of the iconic 60s trousers to the Brits in 2023 with some square toed black boots.

Meanwhile his 2019 Fine Line album cover featured a pair of effortlessly chic white flare, suggesting Brad may too start experimenting with other colours.  

A moment for green  

Brad isn't afraid to make a statement with a bold colour after he wore a theory green leather shirt style jacket to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit in July 2023. 

The star was seen wearing a plain green T-shirt under a lightweight jacket in a lighter shade of the same colour.

The movie star wore a pair of brown-tinted sunglasses and casually walked with his hand in his pocket as he waved to the crowds. 

And Harry is also a fan of the green after he pulled together a collection of contrasting shades for the Toronto International Film Festival in 2022. 

The singer paired a dark green Gucci blazer, adorned with a large green flower, with a pair of moss green tailored trousers and a bright green handbag. 

Whether for a casual day on the race track, or dressing it up for the red carpet one thing is for sure, both stars love a green moment.  

Funky trousers

And Brad is even experimenting with quirky prints after he ditched his sharp suits for a casual yet funky ensemble as he touched down in Los Angeles on Monday following his whirlwind trip to Venice.

The Hollywood actor, 60, rocked a pair of baggy houndstooth trousers teamed with a white bucket hat and tan tote bag as he strolled towards his vehicle following his long trip home.

Looking comfortable in the relaxed fit, the trousers were almost identical to one of the many pairs Harry sported during his Love On Tour show. 

The former One Direction star has styled all patterns from spots, stripes, diamonds and even hearts with fans eagerly awaiting what outfit they would be graced with for their respective show.  

Cool in blue 

Brad kept it simple and chic as he arrived at Venice Festival last week in a dapper pale blue suit. 

He looked typically cool in the pale blue jacket, which he wore with matching trousers and a white T-shirt with aviator shades. 

And his suit jacket rendered a striking similarity to Harry's Gucci blue suit jacket which he wore to mark the release of his hit Golden in December 2020. 

While Brad paired the suit with a plain white T-shirt, Harry opted for a pale blue and white striped shirt and some crocheted white gloves. 

A little bit of checked 

The Hollywood superstar dipped his toe into the world of designer checked as he made a fashionable appearance at Silverstone to film scenes for his new Formula One movie in July. 

Keeping his outfit simple in a cream quilted bomber jacket and matching trousers, Brad's bucket hat was the centre of the outfit, costing a whopping £320 from Burberry. 

And while Brad opted for a little bit of checked, Harry turned up the volume as he wore a similar print jacket for the Grammys back in 2021. 

The Fine Line hitmaker posed up a storm in a yellow checked tweed Gucci blazer which he paired with a V neck sweater, velour brown flares, and of course a feather boa. 

The blue green combo  

Brad opted for another green co-ord for the Los Angeles premiere of his film Bullet Train in 2022. 

The star rocked a linen green suit over a teal polo shirt as he put on an effortlessly chic display in the bold ensemble. 

His outfit looked struck similarities with Harry's blue and green combo which he wore two years prior at SiriusXM Studios in 2020. 

The singer also opted for some bright green trousers, which he paired with a navy blue jumper. 

Dressing the look up he added a white lace collar and pearl necklace while he kept his shoes a simple white, unlike Brad's bold yellow trainers.  

Double Denim 

It's always a tricky one, but Brad made the bold choice to go for double denim as he cut a casual figure at the Bullet Train premiere in Seoul back in 2022. 

The star looked relaxed posing with his hands in his pockets as he opted for a denim baggy trouser and matching shirt. 

Brad struck a resemblance to Mr Styles who is a known fan of the double denim combo. 

The star travelled in style as he was seen leaving JFK airport in 2019 in a denim jacket with blue and white striped cuffs and denim jeans.
