A few months ago, we quietly launched Today in Photography, a new version of DPReview’s weekly email for anyone who wants to keep up with the photo world. It also marked a return to one of the site’s early ideas: our newsletter dates back to 1999, and past versions included more than just links to the latest stories.
Today in Photography goes beyond the headlines with original stories, insider updates and inspiration you won’t find on the site.
DPreviewNow, we’re excited to announce that we are expanding to twice a week, arriving in your inbox every Sunday and Wednesday, with original content you won’t find on the website.
Today in Photography includes far more than just a roundup of stories already on DPReview. It features a wide selection of newsletter-only material we’re creating specifically for subscribers: a personal note from the editor, behind-the-scenes looks at what our team is testing, inspiring photos and posts we spot on social media, standout images and quotes from the DPReview community, photography history and more.
You may also find quick newsletter-specific photo challenges, accessory reviews, reader polls, firmware and software update roundups, camera and imaging tech explainers, photography tips, upcoming photo opportunities, deals, quizzes, culture picks and occasional reader Q&As with the DPReview team. In other words, there’s a lot to check out in each edition of Today in Photography.
We still cover the latest articles and biggest industry news, but Today in Photography is a chance to step beyond the homepage, with interesting, useful and fun parts of photography that don’t always make it into a full article.
If that sounds like your kind of email, sign up for Today in Photography at the link below to keep up with what’s happening at DPReview and across the photography world, plus plenty you won’t find on the site. We’d love to have you join us.
