Interview with the Vampire season 3 just released a rocking new trailer.

The new trailer for season 3, which is titled The Vampire Lestat, confirms Lestat's new era has arrived, alongside a summer release date for the next chapter of the series. Season 3 of the Immortal Universe vampire series pulls from the pages of Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat, the sequel novel to Interview with the Vampire. In the show, Lestat begins touring as a rock star, also intending to tell his story as a vampire to the world. This follows the end of Interview with a Vampire season 2, where he and Louis reunited and made up.

Now, AMC has released a new trailer for Interview with the Vampire season 3, highlighting Lestat's new musician lifestyle. He's seen performing while his cover of Billy Idol's "Dancing with Myself," sung by actor Sam Reid, plays in the background. While focusing on his attempt to become famous, the trailer also reveals he wants to tell his own story as a vampire, going against some of what Louis told Daniel in previous seasons. The end sees him flying above a crowd of people, before confirming a premiere date of Sunday, June 7.

In addition to the new trailer, AMC, in partnership with Lakeshore Records, has already released two singles from Interview with the Vampire season 3 sung by Reid as Lestat. These songs, "Long Face" and "All Fall Down," are available now on digital music platforms. Composed by Daniel Hart, the songs will be featured in the show, and will be the first of multiple songs released coinciding with the series.
