If you need further proof that time is just a flat circle (oops, that’s from a different McConaughey masterpiece), it’s been a whole 10 years already since we were introduced to sci-fi epic Interstellar from director Christopher Nolan, which earned dozens of awards and spawned a handful of decent memes. To commemorate the occasion, Paramount debuted a 10th anniversary Collector’s Edition back in mid-October. While pre-orders for the Collector’s Edition have quickly sold out each time they appear, you can currently purchase a copy from Barnes & Noble if you hustle for $53.19.
The Collector’s Edition includes a 4K Blu-ray version of the film along with a 1080p Blu-ray copy, plus a separate disc containing special features. You’ll also find a number of collectibles included, ranging from five theatrical poster reproductions, a booklet with a never-before-seen storyboard sequence, and a collection of five mission patches based on the ships found in the movie.
If you aren’t particularly excited about the bonus items included with the Collector’s Edition, or missed your chance to pick one up while it was available, Walmart has re-issued its exclusive Steelbook edition of Interstellar for $30.99, which includes both 4K and 1080p Blu-ray versions of the film, as well as a disc containing all of the bonus features included with the original release.
