These days, Dance Moms alum JoJo Siwa is saving her tears for her pillow and any details about her love life for her closest friends—not the nearly 46 million fans who live for every update she shares to TikTok.
"You f--k up and you put things in public that you shouldn't be," the self-described "CEO of Gay Pop" explained to E! News in an exclusive interview at the 11th Annual American Reality Television Awards Nov. 18, the same day she confirmed that she'd ended her three-month romance with So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Dakayla Wilson. "Unfortunately, that's the only way that you learn sometimes. And I've had to learn some hard lessons, but they've paid off in the end."
So, no, the "Iced Coffee" singer won't be letting any secrets drip out about her connection to Kath Ebbs, the Australian actor and content creator she was recently seen picking up from Los Angeles International Airport.
At least she'll try, anyway.
"You know, it's interesting. My mom always used to tell me, 'The whole world doesn't need to know everything, JoJo. You can keep some things a secret.' And I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, totally,'" Siwa shared of her personal dance mom Jessalyn Siwa during a November panel at Rhode Island Comic Con.
And, yet...
"Secrets are hard to keep," she continued. "I was kind of born to share my life with the world, and I'm OK with that and I enjoy that."

Until she didn't.
While the 21-year-old didn't explicitly name names, she mentioned a public relationship she had not long after her teenage romance with Kylie Prew.
"It kind of seemed like it was the best, but it really wasn't the best," Siwa acknowledged. "And then, after it ended, it was really not the best. And it just scared me from sharing relationships publicly."
So in between that partnership and her coupling with Wilson, she continued, "I was in one serious relationship, but like two flings, and no one knew about any of them. So I will take it. Well-achieved."
Whether she will continue giving herself high marks for her discretion or indulge her favorite guilty pleasure remains to be seen. But as Siwa continues her hunt for the mother of her future triplets (“I always bring up the Freddie, Eddie and Teddie conversation right away in a relationship," she told Us Weekly) we're taking a look at where she's been.
