Her outfits on The Traitors have become as renowned as the show.

And this year, Claudia Winkleman's wardrobe is as opulent as ever as she dressed in a £1,700 outfit for the launch episode.

The presenter, famous for her expensive taste in clothes and accessories, wore an £875 Bella Freud tweed blazer which she teamed with knitted fingerless gloves, a black turtleneck and £800 Saint Laurent suede ankle boots.

For Thursday night's episode, the 51-year-old wore a bespoke 'Mission' branded brown cape from Luxury Family Affair, worth £800.

She also donned £180 brown Dr Marten boots with khaki jeans and a £535 Kapital Knitwear wool sweater which befits the Scottish countryside look, as the show is made in Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.

Ms Winkleman uses high-profile stylist Sinead McKeefry to dress her for the show.

Wednesday night's launch episode of the much-anticipated third series raked in 5.4 million viewers — close to its best performance of 5.5 million, which was the finale of last season as viewers saw the first three Traitors chosen by Ms Winkleman.

But the drama began before they even arrived when they were heading to the castle on the train after three hopefuls were axed in a jaw-dropping opener.

Yesterday, Ms Winkleman thanked fans for tuning in after she previously revealed she was terrified about the show doing well.

'I don't exhale until January 24, I wake up at 4am, even on Strictly Saturday's,' she said ahead of the launch.

'I was talking about people's Cha Chas, but in my head, I'm thinking, well, 'do they like The Traitors?'

'We're totally terrified, because the success of the first one blew our socks off. We didn't expect it.

'And I just love making it so much. It is such an honour to be in that round table and to see how it unfolds.

'So I feel incredibly lucky. I love it, and you just don't want people to be disappointed.'

Earlier in 2024, the BBC announced that a celebrity version of the show will be running.

Meanwhile, applications for the 2026 series have already opened, with filming expected to take place in the summer.
