Viliak Can't Solve This Challenge

To unlock Forced Perspective: Catching a Big Fish and the majority of Forced Perspective quests, you need to complete two specific quests that teach you how this side quest series works. Once they're complete, you can pick up other Forced Perspective quests as you come across them at random while exploring Miraland. The quests you need to complete to unlock Catching a Big Fish are Forced Perspective: Caged Bird and Forced Perspective: Capturing the Thief, in that order.

Unlocking Forced Perspective Quests

You can pick up and complete the Caged Bird quest by finding Ginona on the house's deck to the right of the bridge next to the Florawish Lane Warp Spire. All you need to do to complete her quest is take a picture of the empty bird cage, but angle it so it looks like the bird decorations are inside it. Then, head to the Florawish Guard House to find Toran, who wants an image of a criminal behind bars. Run to the side of the guard house to find a poster of a criminal, then take a photo where the poster is behind the bars of the fence to complete the quest. Once done, you can pick up other Forced Perspective quests around Miraland.

Completing Forced Perspective: Catching A Big Fish

With the prerequisites complete, you can head to the Meadow Wharf Warp Spire in Breezy Meadow to find Viliak on the docks near the building. If you speak with her, she explains that she's trying to complete a Forced Perspective challenge where she captures an image of a big fish on a hook in the area, but she can't figure out how to get that image.

Head down the docks to find a small boat in the water that you can jump onto, then face towards the docks again. You'll be able to see a large hook and crate with a cloth over it with the image of a fish. Take a picture of the hook in the fish's mouth, then give the image to Viliak to complete the quest.

As a reward for your work, Viliak gives you 10 Diamonds and 3 Upgrade Packs. Upgrade Packs are used to upgrade Momo's camera if you haven't used them yet.
