Although many of the outfits in Infinity Nikki are mainly cosmetic, many of them provide different stats that can be used in the various Styling Contests that players will come across throughout their time exploring the fantasy world of Miraland.

However, one of the main outfit styles that are essential for everyday gameplay in Infinity Nikki are the ability outfits, which grant Nikki the power to engage in a variety of different skills. From the ability to float, shrink, and engage in the usual cozy gaming skills such as bug-catching, fishing, and more, the ability outfits in the game each provide a unique skill, while also serving a special aesthetic appearance. While some of the ability outfits significantly improve the gameplay, others can fall a little short.

10 Symphony Of Strings - The Violin Outfit

The Minigame Is An Exhausting Activity

When a player has participated in the "Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted" main story quest in Chapter 4 of Infinity Nikki, they will be able to unlock the sketch for the Symphony of Strings ability outfit - otherwise known as the violin outfit. The outfit's primary stat is Sweet, starting with an impressive score of 1474, with Elegant following behind at 763.

The style of the outfit itself, with a monochrome color-scheme and adorned with a music score and a variety of treble clefs, musical notes, and more, is unique in the game, and its musical ability initially sounds very exciting. However, where this outfit falls short is its ability itself, as the minigame for Nikki to play the violin is a little tedious.

Swapping between octaves and navigating which notes to play takes a little longer than what seems necessary, so hopefully the developers might take this into consideration in a future update and make the Symphony of Strings outfit a little bit more enjoyable for players. Additionally, the Symphony of Strings outfit is very rarely used, which works at the moment, while the minigame is an exhausting activity to have to participate in.

9 Bye-Bye Dust - The Animal-Grooming Outfit

The Outfit Lacks Stylistic Impact

One of the most frequently used ability outfits in Infinity Nikki is Bye Bye Dust, the animal-grooming outfit. Additionally, the outfit - despite providing a decent Cool stat for winning Styling contests - is not the most flattering of the ability outfits in the game. The original mustard-colored version resembles construction equipment, but its evolved version is awesome and offers a more cyberpunk-style appearance with its pastel color scheme.

7 Flowing Colors - The Graffiti Outfit

An Adorable But Rather Pointless Outfit

One of the optional ability outfits in Infinity Nikki that was available with the game's first Resonance banner, Butterfly Dream, is the Flowing Colors outfit, which provides a graffiti ability. The outfit, while adorable, is a nice addition to the game for players who enjoy incorporating Flowing Colors' graffiti skill into their in-game photography experiences. However, as an ability outfit itself, Flowing Colors does seem to be a little bit pointless and is more or less just a cosmetic outfit. Additionally, the graffiti can be a little tricky to place where desired, and often sprays midair rather than upon a surface.

6 Starlet Burst - The Shrinking Outfit

It Provides One Of The Most Fun Abilities In Infinity Nikki

As soon as a player advances to Chapter 6 of the main story quest in Infinity Nikki, they will be able to embark upon the "Mysterious Wishing Woods" quest, which will lead to obtaining the sketch for the Starlet Burst outfit, otherwise known as the shrinking outfit. Starlet Burst has an adorable appearance, with a statement bobbled hat and a romper with a celestial design.

The outfit provides one of the most fun abilities in the game, where players can have Nikki shrink and sit atop Momo's head and control the kitty companion as the pair navigate through smaller spaces in the game. What would be the icing on the cake with this outfit would be if it could affect Momo's cloak any time it is in use.

5 Wind of Purity - The Purification Outfit

One Of The Earliest Outfits To Be Unlocked In The Game

One of the earliest outfits to be unlocked in Infinity Nikki is the Wind of Purity outfit, which is the game's combat - otherwise known as Purification - outfit. The celestial-themed ensemble appears on Nikki any time she engages in combat with the various Esselings that pop up throughout Miraland, as well as in Realm of the Dark whenever Nikki attempts to defeat Bouldy.

Unfortunately, the combat gameplay feature doesn't really happen all too often, so seeing this beautiful outfit doesn't occur as often as what would do it justice. However, it can be used in Styling Contests with its generous Elegant stats.

4 Floral Memory - The Floral Gliding Outfit

The Floral Memory gliding outfit is one of the most whimsical features in Infinity Nikki's gameplay. The outfit sketch can be unlocked by players as soon as they discover Stoneville for the first time, where they discover the need to have Nikki float across certain areas of Miraland while sitting on a giant blue flower.

The outfit is beautiful, but its overall color scheme is not as vibrant as one could potentially expect from as magical an ability outfit as this one. However, the Floral Memory outfit does provide a decent Fresh stat, making it a great addition to any Styling Contests requiring a Fresh styling theme.

3 Rippling Serenity - The Fishing Outfit

The Outfit Is Adorable But Lacks Vibrant Colors

Like most cozy games, there is a fishing feature in Infinity Nikki which is essential for players to collect certain crafting materials. This is where the Rippling Serenity fishing outfit comes into play, which is unlocked early in the game along with the majority of the essential material-collecting ability outfits.

The outfit is cute, but it could probably be a little bit more aesthetically appealing with some more vibrant colors and features that are slightly more ocean-themed. As a gameplay activity itself, the fishing system in Infinity Nikki is certainly not the worst in the cozy gaming genre, though it is a little bit tedious, which can lead to players avoiding participating in it where possible.

2 Afternoon Shine - The Bug-Catching Outfit

Bug-catching is an essential material-collecting feature in Infinity Nikki, and the activity is one of the more satisfying abilities in the game. Additionally, the outfit provides a strong Sweet stat and can be used in any Styling Contests requiring a primary Sweet theme.

The outfit boasts an adorable design with a beautiful evolved version showcasing different shades of green. The Bubbly Voyage outfit provides satisfying mechanics, and makes controlling Nikki as the main character a unique gaming experience.
