Upgrading Indy's health in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is one of the most important goals for many new players. This latest publication from Bethesda Softworks has completely altered how one would look at health and other skill upgrade systems. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle puts you at the forefront of the choices that Indiana Jones makes, putting them literally in his shoes and tossing them his whip. Starting players off in Vatican City is an excellent mix of action, adventure, and stealth that allows you to upgrade skills to explore in more fulfilling ways.
The health system is a bit complicated at first, as it functions on a system of requirements different from what you typically see. Many of the skills rely on certain books in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which can be found around the world to be upgraded, normally located in more obscure areas or costing money to obtain. Still, the Health and Stamina system works differently than the others.
How Upgrading Health & Stamina Works
Find Medicine Bottles
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, health and stamina upgrades rely solely on books that can be purchased in the Vatican City. You can head to Valeria, the nun who works in the pharmacy in the city.

Indiana Jones & The Great Circle Avoids The Biggest Movie Mistake
The Great Circle is bringing back the most classic villain of the series, the Nazis, which is the best move for Indiana Jones’s big AAA debut.
In Valeria, you will receive the quest "A Remedy For All," which will allow you to receive a free stamina or health upgrade after finding all the medicine bottles scattered around the town. You will then be rewarded with other mysteries and quests. You should collect these bottles and complete this quest before the main storyline takes them out of the Vatican City area.
Each book costs five Medicine Bottles, with three distinct level upgrades for health and stamina. The Moxie and Shaping Up books each cost many Adventure Points to redeem, with the first of each book requiring 300 points to redeem.
