The Adelaide home of former Neighbours star Peter O'Brien failed to go under the hammer at auction last weekend.
No price was listed for the cosy dwelling, which O'Brien's late parents purchased in the 1960's.
A large crowd turned out, with The Advertiser on Sunday reporting 40 people attended the auction on Sunday, but only two of four registered bidders made an offer on the fixer-upper.
However sales agents say the 64-year-old actor has finally found a buyer for the modest four-bedroom, two-bathroom Glenelg pad.
Real estate sales agents have estimated the value of the seaside property to be $650,200.
O'Brien told the Advertiser last week that his parents, Betty and Jack, snapped up the cosy pad originally as a holiday getaway.
'It was two semis at the time and we'd stay in half and rent out the other half, and eventually we took the whole thing over,' he explained.
The Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries actor also admitted that parting with the home will be difficult.

O'Brien said that the cottage holds many happy memories of his university days and school years.
'It will absolutely be a wrench to sell it and I'm not sure how that's going to go for me at the moment,' he added.
Located 11kms from the CBD and built as a California bungalow only 100metres from the beachfront, the charming home features a street facing 'sun room', spacious kitchen and large backyard.
It also boasts an original fireplace and retains many classic fittings, including frosted glass cupboards, and decorative woodwork.
Other highlights include a private living room, a separate 'family' room and rear verandah.
