Refresh for latest… With the 98th Oscars looming on Sunday, the 63rd ICG Publicists Awards is under way at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills. Deadline is posting the winners as they announced; see the list below.
The awards honor unit publicists, individual publicists, outstanding publicity campaigns for television and motion picture, journalists and unit still photographers.
Michelle Alt of Paramount Pictures took the Publicist of the Year Award, and Kevin McCarthy of On Film … with Kevin McCarthy won the Press Award. Ali Plumb of BBC Radio in the UK took home the International Media Award.
The film and TV prizes for Unit Still Photography went to Atsushi Nishijima and Jake Giles Netter, respectively.
A trio of special honors already have been handed out: Song Sung Blue Oscar nominee Kate Hudson received the 2026 Motion Picture Showperson of the Year Award, and The Pitt Emmy winner Noah Wyle accepted the Television Showperson of the Year Award.
Late-night veteran and four-time Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel accepted the President’s Award — a rare honor presented only on occasion of “extraordinary circumstances.” After Kimmel’s tumultuous 2025, it’s the first time the President’s Award has been bestowed since 2017 and just the fifth this century.
