Ice-T Defends Wife Coco Austin's NSFW Pool Photos
Ice-T and Coco Austin don't need a detective to find what works for their relationship.
After all, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star and model gave insight into their "healthy" and steamy love life, which they attribute to the success of their decades-long marriage.
"You have to keep it healthy," Coco told E! News at Heidi Klum's 23rd Annual Halloween Party red carpet Oct. 31 in New York. "I would say good and healthy is three times a week. I think that's good after 23 years. I think you have to keep it up."
As for what helps keep the excitement alive for the couple, who were killer clowns at the spooktacular soiree? "We usually wear a mask like these," she joked, referring to her husband's scary costume. "Incorporate in the sex world."
But it's also just as important to focus on what you do outside the bedroom.
"We do a lot of date nights," the 45-year-old added, "going to dinner, getting dressed up for each other and picking out what he wants me to wear."
Meanwhile, Ice-T—who shares 8-year-old daughter Chanel with his wife—emphasized that a relationship void of intimacy could stem from a bigger issue.
"When you first get with somebody, you want to have sex, right?" he explained. "If that ever ends, it's a wrap. When that feeling goes away, forget about it."
"That flame has to stay lit," the 65-year-old told E! in January. “When that flame goes out and you're not really attracted to each other anymore, you have to address that very quickly because it's something that's necessary."
Although a healthy sex life is crucial for their relationship, it's their day-to-day that really forged their bond.
"I think Coco and I are teammates," he reflected. "We have to be teammates, not opponents, not assets, not liabilities. I value what she brings to me, and I think it's vice versa. We appreciate each other."

And Ice-T knows that having the right costar in your personal life is the key to happiness, especially through the ups and downs.
"Getting married is like casting for a movie," the rapper previously told E!. "You got to pick somebody who's ready for all the scenes. Now, there's gonna be fun scenes. There's gonna be sad scenes. There's gonna be tough scenes. There's gonna be fight scenes."
"A lot of people don't sign up for the whole movie," he concluded. "They just sign up for the good part."
