Ice-T and Coco Austin reveal how many times a week they have sex to maintain 'healthy' 23-year marriage

Ice-T and longtime wife Coco Austin have given fans a glimpse into their marriage, 23 years after tying the knot.

The 45-year-old actress told E! News this week that she and her husband, 66, have sex a 'good and healthy' 'three times a week.'

She explained, 'I think that’s good after 23 years. I think you have to keep it up.'

Austin noted that she and the Law & Order: SVU star keep romance alive with regular date nights that include 'going to dinner, getting dressed up for each other and [Ice-T] picking out what he wants [me] to wear.'

Ice-T, born Tracy Marrow, added that a lack of sex can end a relationship.

'When you first get with somebody, you want to have sex, right?' the rapper explained. 'If that ever ends… when that feeling goes away, forget about it.'

Earlier this year, he joked that he and Coco stay connected through 'jungle sex.'

'That flame has to stay lit,' he insisted to E! News.

'When that flame goes out and you're not really attracted to each other anymore, you have to address that very quickly because it's something that's necessary,' Ice-T reasoned.

He emphasized, 'We have to be teammates, not opponents, not assets, not liabilities. I value what she brings to me, and I think it's vice versa. We appreciate each other.' 

The star and his curvy bombshell wife welcomed daughter Chanel in 2015 after they had been married for 13 years. 

Ice-T is also dad to 48-year-old daughter LeTesha and 32-year-old son Tracy, who is named after him.

Earlier this year, the father-of-three appeared on social media in a rare photo with all of his children as Coco captioned, 'The 'Ice family' #mommy #daddy #brother #sister.'

Ice-T and Coco are often on the receiving end of criticism due to their parenting style — which has included breastfeeding Chanel until age five, bathing her in the kitchen sink, and letting her twerk in home videos.

But the Law & Order fixture has defended their choices, chalking it up to their unusual lifestyle.

He told People in 2023, 'I think the thing of it is, it's Ice-T and Coco. Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma. I'm a f***ing rock star — it’s different.'

He also explained why Chanel regularly appears in social media content shared by him and Coco.

'It's fun and [Chanel] likes doing it. If she didn't, we definitely wouldn't do it,' he noted.

Adding more context, the entertainer shared: 'When Chanel was born, we got her social media because we knew that we were gonna be the parents that were gonna show a hundred pictures of their kid because we were proud.'
