Hulu raised the price of its Live TV service to $89.99 today, October 21st, for current subscribers. However, new and returning subscribers (who haven’t had an active subscription for a month) can get Hulu with Live TV for $64.99 per month (was $82.99) for the first three months of their subscription. The deal runs until November 5th at 6:00PM ET, and can save you $45 versus paying full price.
In addition to its over 95 channels of TV with unlimited DVR recording (Hulu has the entire channel list here), this subscription also gets you ad-supported versions of Hulu, Disney Plus, ESPN Select and Unlimited.
Hulu’s discount lines up nicely with the MLB World Series, which you’ll be able to stream live when it kicks off on October 24th. You can also catch up on Andor, Only Murders in the Building, the King of the Hill reboot, and much more. A benefit of a live TV streaming service such as this one is that you can watch shows on your smartphone or tablet as they air instead of waiting for them on demand. The unlimited DVR feature comes in handy if you’re busy during a live broadcast.
The price of live TV subscription services continues to rise, so Hulu’s deal is well worth considering, especially if you’ve never tried it before. YouTube TV is offering a discount on the first three months of your subscription, but the starting price is $72.99 (was $82.99), so you’ll only save $30 all in all. The Hulu with Live TV subscription will automatically renew at its full price once your trial discount expires, but the three months of service at this discounted rate should be enough time to assess whether it’s still worth it for you.
