Sutton Foster made a rather foreshadowing post about her new boyfriend Hugh Jackman years before the pair were engulfed in 'affair' rumours, it has been revealed.
The stage actors decided to go public with their romance this week following years of speculation - after they both split from their respective spouses.
Hugh, 56, and Sutton, 49, first met back in 2008 when the actress starred in Shrek the musical, however they became close when cast opposite each other in the 2022 Broadway revival of The Music Man.
But way back in 2019, Sutton foreshadowed her future romance with the Australian star as she shared the announcement of their joint casting for the 1962 show.
In reference to one of the musical's songs, Sutton re-shared the post with the message: 'Til there was Hugh.'
It came hours after one of Hugh's posts also resurfaced in which he awkwardly referenced 'cheating'.

Hugh took to X, then Twitter, in 2015, to share an image of himself sitting on a table while staring at a plate of cookies.
Hugh riffed off Shakespeare to muse 'to cheat or not to cheat - that is the question?!' - referring to a 'cheat' meal when they are on a diet.
But social media users were quick to comment on the post in light of his new relationship with Sutton.
Hugh was married to his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 68, for 27 years before they announced their shock split in September 2023.
Soon followed rumours that Hugh had embarked on a relationship with his The Music Man co-star who was married to her ex-husband Ted Griffin when the pair first started workshopping the Broadway production back in 2020.
As Hugh's 'cheating' resurfaced this week, people likened it to the widespread 'affair' rumours surrounding the end of his long-term marriage - joking the post 'aged poorly'.
Resharing the 2015 post, fans wrote: 'Unfortunately this just became the funniest tweet in history,';
'Male jokes are always hidden truths,'; 'Im not sure what Im gonna eat tomorrow but Hugh knew what he was gonna do in 10 years,';

'This did NOT age well,'; 'Well it took 10 years but he finally answered the question.'
Sutton and Hugh confirmed they are now an item on Monday night after being snapped hand-in-hand on a dinner date in Santa Monica, California.
After months of being 'plagued with suspicions,' Furness can now move on, according to insiders, who claim the images confirmed that her fears were warranted.

Deborra-Lee and Hugh announced the end of their marriage in a shock statement in September 2023, telling fans that they were 'shifting' and as a result had decided to 'separate to pursue our individual growth'.
Foster filed for divorce from her estranged husband in October after 10 years of marriage. They share daughter Emily, seven.
One month later Deborra-Lee raised eyebrows when her private Instagram account 'liked' a video from gossip blogger Tasha Lustig which claimed Hugh was 'running off with the mistress' and planning a 'soft launch' of his new relationship to test reaction.
Adding credence to the claim was Deborra-Lee's friend Amanda de Cadenet, who commented on the same post: 'You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!'
