Hugh Jackman, 55, looks dashing in a navy suit and matching shoes at US Open - as Deadpool & Wolverine continues to dominate box office

Hugh Jackman made spectators swoon on Saturday.

The 55-year-old Australian actor — who is said to be 'a class act and so good at what he does' on set by Channing Tatum — looked dashing in a navy suit and matching denim sneakers while at the US Open in New York City.

His signature brunette locks were pushed back as he flaunted his silver scruff.

The Greatest Showman star appeared to be in good spirits as he flashed a thumbs up during the event.

He sat with an acquaintance as he watched Iga Swiatek and Anastasia Pavlyuchenova battle it out at the Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The actor's appearance in the Big Apple comes as his latest film Deadpool & Wolverine continues to dominate the box office for the fifth week since its theatrical release. 

It earned $18.3 million dollars just this week. 

And the film is expected to cross $600million in ticket sales by Labor Day, according to Deadline.

In it, Hugh reprised his role as Wolverine and joined forces with Ryan Reynolds' character Deadpool to save all universes. 

The Marvel mashup is successfully beating the competition that included two high profile newcomers, Blink Twice and The Crow, after its brief fall to second place last week.

Reynolds, 47, and Jackman co-lead the R-rated comedy-action film as 'Deadpool's (Reynolds) peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse.

'He soon unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine (Jackman), to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat,' per an official description.

Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a 78-percent rating, but audiences were more impressed, turning in a 95-percent score.

Deadpool and Wolverine earned the title of the highest-grossing R-rated film ever.

Other cast members include: Jennifer Garner, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Karan Soni and Matthew Macfadyen.

Shawn Levy took the reins on the project as director and Reynolds also lent his writing talents to the script.

The movie has won three Golden Trailer Awards: Best Teaser, Summer 2024 Blockbuster Trailer and Best of Show.

It also won a Digital Spy Reader Award for Most Anticipated Movie of 2024.

The superhero film hit theaters on July 26, 2024.

The positive reviews for Deadpool and Wolverine come as Jackman learns to navigate life as a single man after ending his marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness, 68, last year.

They announced their split in a joint statement on September 15, 2023, saying, 'We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

'Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives,' it read.

The exes signed the statement 'Deb and Hugh Jackman,' adding: 'This is the sole statement either of us will make.'

They married on on April 11, 1996, less than a year after they met, saying 'I do' at a Melbourne, Australia church. At the time, he was 27 and she was 41.

Hugh and Deb share two children together: Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19.
