In a brand new twist on the franchise, 12 all-star survivalists are dropped into the ocean in the dead of night and left to fend for themselves on a remote Philippine island — all while completely starkers. Read on for how to watch Naked and Afraid: Shipwrecked online from anywhere with a VPN — a potentially for FREE.
Initially told they are on their way to a standard Naked & Afraid group challenge, the survivalists are instead left to grab what they can before being set adrift off a remote island in the pitch black night. After making it ashore, the contestants are divided into four groups and left to survive on the island in an area dubbed “Southeast Asia’s Bermuda Triangle.”
The jungle offers the most fruitful bounty, including essential equipment left behind from those who have come before, but it’s also high risk, with unforgiving terrain and deadly wildlife. The shark-infested ocean doesn't offer much more solace, as alongside the toothsome terrors, there’s also stingrays, sea snakes and box jellyfish to contend with.
With no food, fresh water or clothing, the teams must quickly form a plan, and work together, relying on their skills as a unit, not as individuals. Whatsmore, with each team only receiving one piece of the challenge map, they must track down the others in order to combine intelligence and secure rescue by Day 35.
Shipwrecked sounds like a thrilling take on the franchise, combining the classic N&A survivalist ethos with the desert island drama of the likes of Castway and Lost. Find out how to watch Naked and Afraid: Shipwrecked online and from anywhere.
