How to read the patient's vitals and make an X-ray

To help the patient in Silent Hill: Townfall, Zoe must overcome a series of challenges. Dr. Glenn, who's barking orders over the intercom, isn't especially helpful, so you must figure out how to read the patient's blood pressure, how to make an X-ray, and how to find the correct medicine infusion rates by yourself. The patient puzzle, aka the "Zoe: The Patient" mission, is one of the longest and hardest challenges in St. Amelia.

From reading the vitals to finding the medicine, here's how to solve the patient puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall.

'Zoe: The Patient' puzzle walkthrough in Silent Hill: Townfall

The patient puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall encompasses the entire "Zoe: The Patient" mission. It's set in the St. Amelia Medical Centre, following the "Journey to Medical" mission.

To save the patient, you must complete the following steps:

Read the patient's vitals.
Make an X-ray.
Collect the three medicines in St. Amelia Medical Centre.
Administer the medicine.
Find the intubation kit.

Each step in Silent Hill: Townfall's "Zoe: The Patient" mission presents a small puzzle of its own. While some rely on brainpower only, beware that steps three and five involve stealth and/or combat.

How to read the patient's vitals in Silent Hill: Townfall

At the start of "Zoe: The Patient," you'll find yourself alone in the surgery room. First, grab the HP-recovery kit from the sink and the St. Amelia Medical Centre's map from the wall — they'll come in handy. Talk to Dr. Glenn over the intercom, next to the sink.

Dr. Glenn asks for the patient's vitals, including blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen levels. However, there are five different machines surrounding the patient, and they each say something different. To solve this first puzzle, you must check the color of the cables; if the doctor asks for blood pressure, which is displayed in green numbers, you must follow the green cable that connects the patient to one of the machines. Read the blood pressure on this machine, and the doctor is happy. If you make a mistake, you will lose HP.

So, to solve the patient's vitals puzzle, interact with the machines and numbers in this order:

Blood pressure: 70 over 40. Click on the green numbers on the machine close to the sink.
Pulse: 162. It's the yellow number displayed on the machine at the patient's left foot.
Blood oxygen levels: 80%. It's the red number on the machine near the patient's head.

How to make an X-ray in Silent Hill: Townfall

Your next task is to make an X-ray of the patient's skull and chest. Use the door code, 7103, to enter the room with the X-ray machine. The code is on your pager.

To find the X-ray settings, use the white laptop near the patient. The power button is on the bottom right (easy to miss). Go to "X-ray dosage table" to see the correct settings.

To make an X-ray of the patient's skull, interact with the computer next to the X-ray machine and adjust the camera until the four white squares fit into the boxes around the patient's head, like this:

Next, enter the following settings on the X-ray machine:

Site: Skull
kV: 3
mA: 7
Time: 1

When ready, turn on the power and press the green button. Next, do the same thing for the chest X-ray, but change to the following inputs:

Site: Chest
kV: 7
mA: 3
Time: 1.2

Put the two X-rays on the whiteboard in the patient's room to complete this part of "Zoe: The Patient" in Silent Hill: Townfall.

Where to find medicine for the patient in Silent Hill: Townfall

Next, you must find three types of medicine around the St. Amelia Medical Care Centre. Be careful; there are monsters roaming the halls and rooms. Here's where to find each medicine:

Pharmacy Store: Tensobromide 11mg. Exit the surgery room and turn left. There's a monster walking up and down this hallway, so wait until it walks away (look through the window) before opening the door.
Bay 6: Dextracyclate 2.5mg. It's upstairs, next to the bed in the northeast corner (beware of the monster). While you're here, find a sticky note with the Records Room door code in the northwest office.
Records Room: Hydroxalene 3mg. Return to the ground floor and proceed to the Chapman Ward in the west (again, there's a monster). Use the keypad code 2605 to open the door. The medicine is in the closet.

Once you've got the medicine, return to the patient in the surgery room.

How to administer the medicine in Silent Hill: Townfall

Back in the surgery room, the doctor commands you to "use the infusion pumps to administer the treatment." As you can see, there are three infusion pumps attached to the patient. Place the three medicines in the pumps (the order doesn't matter).

What does matter, are the infusion rates. Note that the patient weighs 88 kg, as written on the whiteboard. With that info, use the laptop (the same one you used for the X-ray settings) to find the medication dosage table. The patient falls within the 81-90 kg category, which means you must use the following infusion rates:

Tensobromide 11mg: 8
Dextracyclate 2.5mg: 15
Hydroxalene 3mg: 7

To enter the infusion rate, interact with the pump, press "set rate," enter the number, and press "ready pump." When all three infusion pumps are ready, press the "ready" button on the small square device left of the patient's head.

Where to find the intubation kit for the patient in Silent Hill: Townfall

The doctor asks you to call the number 5353 to get access to the basement, where you must find the intubation kit. You can use the phone at the reception desk. Beware that the monster is still roaming the hallway if you haven't killed it yet.

Take the elevator down (press "B" to go to the basement), where you'll find the intubation kit in the storage room. You can use the radio in the kitchen to distract the monster while you grab the kit.

Back in the surgery room, while using the intubation kit, move your cursor around the vein (the dot on your screen) until it turns red and starts throbbing, then hold the interaction button.

With the intubation mini-game complete, the Silent Hill: Townfall patient puzzle is finally finished. After the cutscene, "Zoe: The Patient" will end and "Many Into One" will begin.
